Wars Changes Coming Soon

Get your first glimpse into the new Declare War feature the next time you go to the fight page in Mafia Wars. You will get this popup. As of now everything is still the same. Coming soon we will be able to heal our friends and use chat to ask for help. I sure hope it's not Facebook chat. I refuse to ever turn that on. Zynga should be aware of all the hacking that takes place via the Facebook chat box. They weren't aware of all the banning that takes place for adding Facebook friends so I won't be surprised if we are encouraged to use the chat feature. The damage we do to others will now be based on our skills which is really cool. Check the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page for more information.

    Just fought in a war where it showed the level of the top mafia and allows for multiple strikes by the same person.

    I've been doing "double strikes". Don't know how this affect the rewards. I am about 20% maxed as of now.

    Really? Is this the big change? Needing more mafia to finish wars and some can kill up to two persons and injure the third... “Hey, let's put in a feature which was a bug and was exploited some time ago and call it an improvement!" YAY we're so cleaver!!!

    I don't understand this - why is it that I can only wound someone and another in my mafia whom I know to be not as strong as I can hit three times?
    Can someone explain that, please?

    I dont like the change it hs already ahppened for me. It favors stronger plyers.I used to be able to kill now it seems all us under level 2000 can do is wound someone.

    Change? What change?? This "new" feature was already existing during MW 09-10, it just got removed..low atk skill does half dmg while high attack does splash dmg. jeez, you call that new?

    @christina. Yes this does favour strong players as this is mafia wars. you have the right to choose to be strong player or job hunter.

    what was wrong with the old system everyone was on an even keel now it favours mainly only higher levels what happened to if it aint broke dont fix
