Thrill Of The Hunt Limited Time Mission Walk Through

You will find The Thrill of the Hunt Limited Time Mission can on your Home Page. We have 9 days to do this  Mission but there are 9 parts so you need to plan ahead. The objectives will take you to New York, Las Vegas and Italy. Make sure you don't collect on your New York Tenement right before you get to Part 9 or you will have to wait 48 hours. Other than some of the jobs, there shouldn't be much to hold you back. Overall the loot items are better than we have seen in the past but this Mission is a lot of work. Especially when you factor in all the other things going on right now.

Part 1

No White Knights

These all seem to start out with the dreaded "Get Support From Your Mafia" task. Now that Zynga counts these as a "Gift", it may be harder than you think to get these tasks completed. To make life a little easier, make sure you use the Mission Crew Link bookmarklet by Team Spockholm.

Build two armor items and do 10 jobs in New York and you are done. It's annoying that they want us to build an Armor item as most players probably built one last night when the Armory was upgraded. This will probably be a stalling point for some. The job "Wiretap the Cops" is located in the Enforcer tier of New York. Mine was automatically checked so I didn't have to do it at all.

The job above requires Wiretap Devices. If you run out they can be made by doing the job "Overtake Phone Central" located in the same tier at the bottom of the job page.

The loot item rewards for completing Part 1 are 4 Yeti Snow Cruisers and 2 Buzzsaws. Neither item is anything to get excited about.

Part 2
Plug the Leaks

Part 2 is pretty easy. You can kill two birds with one stone by running Brawler in New York for about 5 minutes. You get 3 Wake Breakers which will be active in most players inventory. It's a great pay out for not a lot of work.

Part 3
Ferret Them Out

Part 3 was easy for me because 2 of the objectives were already checked. All I needed to do was successfully rob 15 properties in New York. For those not so lucky, you will have to ask your mafia for 5 Hot Tips. Wonder why they can't make one of these posts for Mission Crew members? What would we do without Team Spockholm?

Now loot 8 Computer Set-Ups from the job "Rob An Electronics Store" located in the Enforcer Tier of New York. There are no loot item rewards for completing this part of the Mission.

Part 4
Oversight

Part 4 is a little more elaborate. You have two tasks requiring you to fight in Las Vegas and the one listed first won't count until you complete the the second one. Take out all 7 Witness Bodyguards located on the Fight list before you attempt to win 15 fights against other players. Each Witness Bodyguard cost 10 Stamina Points to attack.

The required job ,"Create a Distraction On The Floor", is located in District 4 of Las Vegas and you need to do it 20 times. Craft one item in your Chop Shop and your done.

Again the loot item rewards will increase your stats. You get 4 Toasters and 3 Brigadiers for completing Part 4 of the Mission.

 

Part 5

Moving Target

You need to collect on your Italian Winery 2 times. The Winery can be collected every 6 hours so this task shouldn't hold you back too long.

Looting 12 Alarm Codes in Italy may be a problem for some players. The job "Bug The Don's Train Car" in Region 3 of Italy requires a consumable item, Rail Ticket, to perform and the drop rate of Alarm Codes is no where near 100%. I had to refill my energy twice to complete it.

I found out after the fact that you can do the job "Buy Some Black Market Info" in District 3 of Las Vegas and the Alarm Codes that drop will count. This is a better way to go as the drop rate is much better and no consumables are required.

You have to take out 9 Witness Bodyguards and they still cost 10 Stamina to attack. There are no loot item rewards for Part 5.

Part 6

Last But Not least

Don't let the title of Part 6 fool you. It's not the last part. Get 8 more mafia members to support you and clear 1 robbing board in Italy to get 3 Razorbacks.

Part 7

Civil Upset

You will be really "Upset" when you realize this is the 7th part and it's still not over. You can knock the first 2 objectives out at the same time by fighting in Italy. You need to win 18 fights and loot 10 Motor Oils. Do the job "Show A Business Owner Who's In Charge", located in Region 5, 12 times and you don't even get a loot item reward.

 Part 8

The Hard Way

Nope, it's not over yet. Part 8 requires you to build 2 items from the Port, ice 7 opponents in Italy and loot 13 Gas Cans from the job "Recruit Some Local Muscle" located in Region 1. The energy cost is low on this job but the drop rate of Gas Cans is even lower so you will need to spend some energy.

The Gas Cans you loot in Brazil will also count for this objective. The energy cost is a little more but if you use your Brazil Crew Lockpick Bonus, you will probably use less energy in the long run. The drop rate of Gas Cans is 100% in Brazil.

The loot rewards are 4 Steel Plate Jackets and 2 Harper 12's. The stats are decent but they don't help me.

Part 9

Judge and Jury

This is finally the last part! One last round of 7 "Get Support From Your Mafia". Use the same link generated by your Mission Crew Link bookmarklet and hope your mafia is responsive. You need to collect on your Tenement in New York one time. This property can only be collected once every 48 hours so it's best to hold off until you get to Part 9 or you may end up waiting a few days.

You need to rob in New York and collect 12 Sets of Blackmail Photos. They will drop randomly as you rob.

Out of curiosity, I did the job "Obtain Compromising Photos" from the Hitman Tier of New York. The job said I gained a Set of Blackmail Photos for the Mission but they didn't count. Don't waste your energy trying the same thing.

Do the job "Burn Down a Tenement" ,located in the Enforcer Tier of New York, 15 times and you are finally done with this Mission. Unlike some of the past Missions, there is no Boss Fight to do.

The Grand Prize loot item is the Cringe Rifle with impressive stats of 151/87. It's too bad we only get one.
