Tired of the RewardVille pop-ups? There is now an option to turn them off. The only drawback is you won't get zPoints or zCoins. Visit the Customer Support RewardVille: Opt out/Turn off Page for more details. I'm surprised Zynga would spread the word about this. I guess they know Mafia Wars players are sick of pop-ups. Honestly this one isn't that bad and doesn't interfere with too many game actions.

Players have the ability to turn off the zPoints bar above their game screens. Once you have turned off the zPoints bar you will not be able to earn zPoints or zCoins. If you feel you still want to disable RewardVille functionality, go to www.RewardVille.com. Make sure you are logged in. (If you see your photo, name, and RewardVille statistics on the top right of the RewardVille screen, you are logged in; if you don’t see them, click the "Log in with Facebook" icon in the upper right to log in.) After logging in, at the bottom of the page, you will see an option for "Preferences". Click that, then check the box that says, "Turn off RewardVille on my game bar." The next time you restart your game, RewardVille will be removed from the top of your games. Should you want to rejoin the RewardVille program, you can re-activate the zPoints bar at any time by reversing this process. |

Except of course that it drops down into your stats and you have to click on it to make it go away. Imagine if farmville dropped down into mafia wars with notifications? There would be blood in the streets of the forum. Rewardville isn't even a game, it's just a ploy to get more cross play across zynga games.
