I'm really disappointed that so many of us, including many members of the PAC took the time to thank Zynga for allowing us to play the game last weekend on Get Satisfaction. Obviously our praise didn't have any impact as we got slammed like never before this weekend. In addition to playing the game, we are suppose to upgrade both our Armory and Private Zoo, collect gifts for the Terminator vs Rambo Event, work on a new nine part Mission Event, recruit mafia members for Crack The Safe and collect Raw Meat for a Limited Time Buildable item. Lets take a look at all the additional spam you will get this weekend. While you are scrolling, take a listen to a song that always reminds me of Mafia Wars whenever I hear it.

zynga doesn't know to attract new players so their only answer is through spam, it worked before, it has to now, they think...
ReplyDeleteZynga isn`t going to listen to anyone. If they think they can make money then they are going to put as many things out as possible.. They have had bugs in the game for many months if not longer and still hasn`t fixed them and we players have been asking for them to be fixed first.. Several members of my mafia have quit because they don`t listen etc. And Heard many more getting tired of it all and is ready to throw in the towel also..

ReplyDeleteThis weeks event does not really need alot of spam to the wall. It's quite easy to finish the Terminator/Rambo event without any spam at all going to the wall.
ReplyDeleteIf your in gifting groups, you could finish it in a day with using the FBMW Addon Massive Collector, or get-a-nator.. So having this listed as a major spam event is kinda lame since many will finish the event within 24 hours.
As to crack the safe, as far as I can tell, there is no out and out time limit yet on when this will finish. So, I like the fact that we can just take our time and not have to rush to add the 500 necessary people this event will need if you plan to get 100 rewards. To my knowledge, it doesn't create any real spam either, it doesn't require anything but a request to join the mafia, and is not counted towards gifting.
Meat again, not a heavy spam item.. People can only request so many every so often.
As to property upgrades, did you not expect the zoo or armory to get upgrades at some point? I did. Not that I have alot of extra parts, but what I'm upset about in this regard is that Zynga chose to give us parts that are both in the same building instead of one zoo or one armory item. What about the people who are doing chop shop, or weapon upgrades, these items are not even on the gift page. Granted, we can use link-a-nator to send out the gift list, but because many people are fully upgraded they are unlikely to take a item they do not need. Zynga could have at the very least given us an additional 4 gifts as a random each week for each building.
Hey you just forgot even after all those task that we have to do , We need to do the same thing with farmville and frontierville after ! Zyn.ga own too many soul now lol
ReplyDeletecontrary to marian's suggestion that the 'crack the safe' doesn't create spam, it does, as so many pillocks insist on posting that they have cracked it....this posting achieves nothing & offers no bonus, so is as pointless as the crime spree notifications.....
