Death And Taxes Gifting Event

Zynga can still "hear our cries" but that doesn't mean they aren't gearing up for another gifting event. This one is called the Death and Taxes Gifting Event. I don't know when the event will begin but the items are already in our Inventory Page. As like all the other gifting events, there are 3 loot items and one Grand Prize. All items are shown below, the Grand Prize item states that "This item was available from the 'Death and Taxes' event". Is it possible Zynga decided to cancel this event? Tax day has passed. I wouldn't bet money on it but it would be really nice.

It will be interesting to see what the Zynga definition of "fewer gifts" really means and if the information on this Official Mafia Wars Blog post turn out to be true (1). What we are told and what actually happens in game are not always the same thing.

One thing we are working to improve, based on your feedback, is the gift event experience, specifically the amount of time it takes to complete these events. We are excited to announce that the next gifting event will require fewer gifts to be sent and received, while continuing to carry the same type of reward for completion. We hope that reducing the gifting in this event will allow you to spend more time in the game itself, leveling up, icing your enemies, and generally enjoying the dangerous streets in the exciting cities of Mafia Wars.
