The Underworld Showdown Event ended yesterday and there is already unnecessary panic in the community.
A lot of players are freaking out because their Showdown Trophies haven't been added to their inventories.
If you are one of these players, go back in time and remember how you felt when you didn't insta-get your Victory Rings. It took a day or so but eventually you got them and life went on.
As you can imagine, it takes time to decide who actually won the Underworld Showdown. Zynga needs to go through all the surveys that were submitted and ensure that this winner is legit.
This is very important and accuracy is a top priority. We wouldn't want to see another voting scandal like we did in the 2000 Presidential Election between Al Gore and George Bush. It just wouldn't be right to wonder for the rest or our lives who the real winner of the Showdown Trophy should have been.

I couldn't think of anything funny to go along with Showdown Trophies and people who are hungry for them. This just isn't the same. For now I recommend you just be patient and wait for Zynga to determine who won the fake fight.
UPDATE: Customer Support has just posted the
Underworld Showdown 411 Page and there is a "slight delay due to the reviewing of the ballot cards". The winner will be announced and the Showdown Trophies will be added to our inventories "shortly".
I'm not worked up about it. I'm sure we will get our trophies eventually. But if the popup states that the winner will be announced on 3/8...don't you think they should announce the winner on 3/8?

ReplyDeleteonly thing which erks me is 3/8/2011 is going to be over and they have not yet decided the winner.. also the daily chance thing looks fake as the computer should randomly select some nos.. if zynga has programmed daily chance winners then obviously, no one got 1000reward points still, i am sure of it..

It takes so long to determine the daily chance winners because they have to go through all the tickets that were selected and determine the winning numbers so that they have the fewest winners. Just a thought.

ive been playing this game for over 2 years and have,nt once won anything from the lottery collection but have enough ties to kit out the whole country if anyone needs them

ReplyDeleteWe were told that the winner would be announced March 8! I love this game and all that Zynga does for our gaming pleasure! If Zynga would come forward and announce to its patrons that there has been a glitch, a postponement, or just a screw-up,,,, players would understand and adjust! The whole, give & million people (time) to figure out what they are doing thing,,, is not working! I have played for nearly 2 years without a complaint. As a Godfather of a fight group, I hear multiple complaints about not knowing what may happen next! Not a complaint here, just an issue with knowledge! Thank you for your blog , and a way to voice my opinion!
