Battle In Bangkok Walk Through

The Battle In Bangkok Mission can be found on your Missions Bar or Home Page Module. There are parts and I will outline them here.

Click on the yellow question mark located next to the timer anytime you feel like checking out the Battle In Bangkok pop-up that provides a lot of the details. Just like Cuba and Moscow, player who haven't completed Bangkok will get 5X Mastery and we can collect 10 of a special loot item called a Snake Fang (61/61) each day from doing jobs and fighting.

The Snake Fang doesn't have very impressive stats but may help some players increase their equipment attack and defense scores.

Here are the six parts of the Battle In Bangkok Mission and some descriptions of the tasks. I don't see any cause for serious delays but players who haven't mastered Bangkok are going to have trouble getting enough Baht to buy equipment. I recommend you fight in Bangkok to get Baht and sell your inventory items for the Episodes you have already mastered with the exception of Episode 3, Pirate as you will need to farm Satellite Phones.

Part 1

Exiled No More

The "Get Support From Your Mafia" requests are back into play. These things are annoying but they count when you accept one as well as when someone accepts your request. I was lucky for part one and had enough of them in my Zynga Message Center.

The second task requires that you declare a war. If you want to move quickly through this Mission, don't post the request for help as you will need to win one war in Part 4. If you just exit the war screen, the request help pop-up will appear again when you return to the war page.

Buying 1 item from the Port is easy especially if you always forget like I do. If you already purchased your Port item for the day before starting the Mission, you'll have to wait, otherwise it's smooth sailing to Part 2.

You get 2 Chimney Sweeps, amongst the other rewards for completing Part 1.

Part 2

The King Returns

The Satellite Phones are back. You may have thousands in your inventory but you need to get new ones. Your options are to use the Free Gift system or to loot them. Here they are on the Free Gift Page.

You can only accept 5 a day using this method so it's not possible to finish the entire Mission in the time alloted.

Go to Bangkok, Episode 3, to make the remainder of your phones. If Bangkok is fully mastered, it will cost you 72 energy points per phone. The drop rate is close to 100%. The job is the same regardless if you chose Yakuza or Triad as your path.

Make sure you scroll to the second half of the job page and do the right job. When wanting to make a Satellite Phone, I often click on the first set of alliance path selection jobs by mistake.

Task 2 was auto-checked for me and I'm not sure if this was a glitch in my favor or if it had something to do with Faction I chose. The image showing the requirements and payouts came from Mike Nestor.  You have to do the job "Force A Local Landowner to Sell" 15 times. The job can be found in Episode 2.

Task 3 is easy and just requires that you win 15 robberies in Bangkok.

For all this work, you get a nice loot item that should improve your equipment attack score but no experience bonus.

Part 3

Little Brother

Part 3 is straight forward and easy but you don't get any loot items for your effort.

Part 4

Destroy Their Stronghold

Task one requires that you win one war. You can go back to your war page and post the request for help to win the war you declared in Part one or you can try to be on the winning side of a war. I'm not 100% sure if that always works. I was told you need to be the one who attacks the last person. Please comment if you know the answer to this question. Task two requires that you collect from your Cock Fighting Pen two times. This can be done once every 24 hours or you can spend 6 Reward Points for the second collection if you don't want to wait. Task 3 requires you collect 15 more Satellite Phones.

You get two Fume Proof Masks for finishing this part.

Part 5

Dangerous Dealings

Part 5 brings back the Manila Envelopes that we have to ask our mafia for. I'm glad the number required is low. There are still bug that cause some of the other Missions to not count these when your mafia sends them and it's a pain to contact Customer Support when this happens. Ironically the pop-up to publish this request says you need Documents but my Manila Envelope count went to 6 shortly after I posted it.

Now just rob 15 Piracy Operations and you're done. There are no loot items to collect as rewards for Part 5.

Part 6

The Final Meeting

Part six requires a 30 more Satellite Phones and a Brawler run. After that you have to Defeat The Shadow King. Unfortunately, I ran into a bug. I mastered Bangkok a long time ago and already took him down. When I clicked on "Fight Now", I got the following.

Some players, like David Reedy, who can fight The Shadow King have a whole other issue to deal with.

I'll have to wait until I deal with Customer Support to get my rewards which include the grand prize which is a Coiled Strike that has stats of 80/140.

The Live Chat option wasn't available, so I sent in an e-mail and will have to wait for them to review it and take care of this issue. Here is a copy of what I submitted. Hopefully this is just an error on my account and everybody else who has completed Bangkok will have the task auto-checked.
