Check your calender and it's officially Jan 24th. I know many of you will ask, "Where are the new Regions?". There are 24 hours in a day so when the new Regions will be released is up for debate.
From experience with Las Vegas and Italy 1-5, we saw that the release time was in the afternoon to early evening. If and when Regions 6-8 are released today, it will most likely be on the "slow roll" system meaning that it will be gradually added to accounts. Nobody likes the slow roll (except those who are in the first group) because it's not fun watching other players do what you've been waiting to do yourself. Slow Roll is a popular poker term
(1) and I almost punched a guy in the face for slow rolling me in a tournament. I'm sure players who don't have a feature, event, or a new release feel the same when scrolling through their news feeds.

Italy Regions 6-8 Preview Week page never says that the release will in fact occur on Jan 24th. Read carefully and you will see that it says that the Official Mafia Wars Italy Regions 6-8: 411, Factoids, and FAQ page will be available. In the past, these pages were posted prior to the release. Just something to think about. Don't freak out if the new Regions aren't on your account yet, wait patiently and hope they get there soon. The benefit of getting something last is that you can learn from the mistakes others have made.

I've got every weapon loaded, all Energy Packs are ready, Crime Spree's, two completed missions that give 1000+ xp, and all consumables on 200+ for italy.

ReplyDeleteAgreed, but I saw some players had more than 300 Giant octopuses. Some glitches in the earlier stage can be a very wonderful experience if Zynga didn't get the loots back (like the Giant Octopuse and Big Horn Sheep).
But Zynga did take my 500 Armored War Elephants back....
