Thanks to Jennifer for the quick info about Loyalty Program Change.
Now there is a new Tier level added on the Loyalty Program level on your Mafia Wars Profile.
And this one from the Loyalty Program page on the Marketplace.
I don't have it yet.. but I'm pretty sure that soon all players will have it.
Here is the info when you click on question mark button on the first picture which has the Tier level.

It's more understandable now, agree with Leonard for this one. Although there is still odd formula of getting the progress to reach next level, at least now we know our tier level..
