Robbing Features That May Have Gone Unnoticed

Share:

One of the items that you can get from a Secret Drop is a Burner Refill.
Karan posted this image on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page of a Burner Refill he received from one of his Secret Drops.  A Burner Refill doesn't appear to be equivalent to the level of Robbing you are on. I know when you request Burners from your mafia the maximum number you can receive is.
According to the Mafia Wars Wiki Secret Drop Page, the maximum number of Burners we can get from the Secret Drop refill is 6.
I don't know when Zynga will ever get around to fixing this but you can't see the number of Burners you own because the font color of the number of Burners owned is the same as the background color. To solve this problem, highlight it by right clicking your mouse and drag it over the darkened number.
A Burner Refill shouldn't be a big deal because you can get a lot of Burners by using Stream Helper by Team Spockholm.
Another thing that was noticed in robbing is that Victory Coins are dropping. Bossy Don posted her findings on this yesterday on TopMafia.Info.  She said that you get 1 Victory Coin per 17 stamina used. I checked this out on my main and alternate accounts and was able to reproduce this find on my main account. My alternate account required more stamina per Victory Coin but it has a much higher loss rate.  I'm not sure if this is a permanent change or if Zynga screwed up.  All runs were done in New York.  It appears based on the comments below that this has been going on for a while now and probably wasn't noticed because we all had so many Victory Coins. When robbing, you are never notified that you received Victory Coins. When Zynga took away the timers on loot purchases, most players spent all of their Victory Coins and now newly acquired ones are more noticeable.
Main Account
6054 Stamina
81% Win Rate
1 VC/17.3 Stamina
 Alternate Account
11,249 Stamina
60% Win Rate
1 VC/23.3 Stamina

  1. Can only comment on the burner issue. Noticed that a few weeks ago, got a "full burner refill" once or twice. The first time I knew I was totally out of burners and my limit is 5, so I got 5 burners. Can´t tell about the second time as I don´t know if I had any burners left that time.
Will check around with my mafia 2 see if they know more, cheers Leila.

  2. Recieving victory coins for robbing has been inplemented for a while now, when i checked out the fightclub, i had over 70k of victory coins even tough i only robbed and hardly ever fight.
So i don't think Zynga made an error, it's just a feature that went unnoticed.
You recieve VC for hitlisting, fighting tournaments,.. so it's not all that odd.
Weird thing is that robbing doesn't increase you fight mastery tough.

  3. I really wish Zynga would update the robbing loots. No matter where I rob, I seen instances of old Moscow loot. Helpful loot for new people joining MWars, but horrible for people playing for almost 2 years. Update the loots like the Vegas tournaments (good job btw Zynga).

  6. I think zynga must make robbing club like fight club and change bonus junk loot to bonus part loot to build property

  8. Is it possible that vcoins in robbing is based on succesful robs, much like vcoins in fighting is based on fights won?

1 vcoin per 17 stamina spent is tough to swallow. Not saying the math is incorrect, it is correct.

It would make more sense that the drop is based on successful robs. On the first example, it works out to 1.475 successful robs = 1 vcoin.

The same (~1.4 successful robs:1vc) holds true for the second example as well.

Now, is there any correlation to better drops with increased robbing mastery?
