Mike Nestor told you all about the Shark List changes Fight List that were implemented earlier today. The community went nuts (1). The Official Mafia Wars Blog also posted about this "improvement". Mike also told you due to popular demand it was changed back. Check out the edit on the Mafia Wars Blog towards the bottom. The say for the "time being" but I'm not sure they could do this again without their precious fighters causing another stink. Players who don't normally fight weren't really effected by this change. Pistol Pete from Spockholm Mafia Tools had the following to say about this change:
"I do not care. Got the achievement and back to robbing soon."

Easy answer to the "Bait" issue: Only show live targets. That stops, to some degree, the slammers who attack the same person hundreds of times.
ReplyDeleteI think a weight class based on total Att/Def is probably a better measure than level -- mafia size makes a big degree of difference, as does the swag you've picked up. There should be a *range*: If your class is, say 60,000, there should be some 30K, some 100K on the edges.
It's a harder database query to write, but it's doable.
Got the achievement by accident doing a mission. Continued to rob.

easy enough...keep the classes...those who are fighting are on the list and keeping going on the list...those who are not fighting get on list once if online and then go back on maybe every other 15-30mins they are on...what's hard about that?
