Darn, I was hoping to get a break from these Gifting Events but they don't seem to want to stop. The next one coming is called the Bury A Mole Gift Event.  Check out the Bury A Mole Gifting Event 411 Page to learn all about it.  The event will start tomorrow and end on Jan 23rd.  We can do it 3 times but there will be no Super Mastery Item like we saw with the Dr. Dre Event.

Mafia Wars Bury a Mole Gift Event 411

Here a mole, there a mole, everywhere a mole mole. Put an end to his burrowing ways with the Bury a Molegifting event for a chance to collect and master 3 Bury a Mole gifts to earn a grand prize. Every few days, a new Bury a Mole gift (Spade, Mulch, Potted Plant) will unlock and be giftable to mafia members and friends through the message box on your home page or the free gifts page. Players will gain mastery for collecting multiples of each unique Bury a Mole gift.

You may also randomly receive extra Bury a Mole gifts while doing jobs and fights - share these with your friends in a feed, friends who click on your feed will give you Bury a Mole gifts, too.  Number of gifts required to master each level are:

· Bronze- 4 Gifts

· Silver- 8 Gifts

· Gold- 16 Gifts

(Total required = 28 per Bury a Mole gifts type)

Players who achieve gold mastery for all three Bury a Mole gifts during the Bury a Mole gift event will earn the Grand Prize Johnny D Speedster mastery item. The Grand Prize will only awarded once gold mastery for all three Bury a Mole gifts is achieved. Players will have the opportunity to repeat the event after achieving gold mastery for all three items. This will completely reset all counters and start the Bury a Mole from the beginning to earn duplicate mastery items. This event can be repeated 2 additional times to earn a maximum of 3 mastery reward items.

FAQs

Q: When does this event start?

A: This event starts Tuesday night, January 11th.  As with all gift events, the release will be gradual to ensure stability.  (Not all players will have access initially)

Q: When does this event end?

A: This event ends Sunday night, January 23rd at 11:59 PST.  This date is subject to change.  A 48 hour countdown timer will start 2 days before the end of the event.

Q: How many multiples can I get?

A: Once you've earned the Grand Prize item, your ability to collect multiples of the 3 Mastery items will unlock. The current best strategy is to collect just enough Bury a Mole gifts to accomplish the first Gold Mastery item for each Bury a Mole gift and then wait until you've collected the Grand Prize. Once the event has reset, you can go back and collect any extra Bury a Mole gifts sent to you to fulfill the repeat requirements.

It is possible to have multiple gold mastery items.  However only 1 Bronze or Silver Mastery item is allowed to exist at a time. (Example, you might have a Mastery Item in Gold and Bronze, or Gold and Silver.)

Once you have a second set of Gold Mastery items, you will receive a second Grand Prize item.

Q: How many Bury a Mole gifts can be claimed from feeds per day?

A: The maximum number of Bury a Mole gifts you can claim from feeds is 3 per day. There is no limit on the number you can receive through gift requests.

Q: I don't have enough Bury a Mole gifts to master the item.  What can I do?

A: You have the option of spending 3 Reward Points to purchase one Bury a Mole gift.  There is no limit to the number of Bury a Mole gifts that can be purchased.

Q: What happens to unclaimed Bury a Mole gifts when the event is over?

A: Unclaimed Bury a Mole gifts become regular mystery bags.

Q: Is there a Super-Mastery item this time?

A: There is no Super-Mastery item for this event.
