Beta Live Updates

The mystery of what happened to the Beta Live Updates has been solved. Three days ago, I pointed out it was missing (1) and had no clue why. They left a space for it so I hoped there was a chance it would come back.

The gapping hole has been changed and all the icons shifted over.

I checked the Zynga Forum Boards and there is a thread titled Live Updates Gone and Cerulean Master, Warstrom & Mafia Wars Super Moderator, said that it was removed to see if the the home page would load more quickly. I haven't noticed a difference, have you?  I liked the Beta Live Updates and hope to see them back or replaced with something more useful.
