If you go to your inventory loot page ans scroll down to look at your mastery items, you will notice that the Rainmaker has been changed. One Rainmaker was awarded during Beat The Feds for every level of Boss Fight mastery you received. Those mastering the Gold Level had 3 Rainmakers in their inventory. They cleaned this up and now we only have one and the star indicates what level of mastery your Rain Maker is at

Other than change the wording around, the Rain Maker is suppose to do the same thing as it did before.

I was hoping that since they went through all the trouble of updating the Rain Maker that he would actually start delivering as promised. Unfortunately this is not the case and the Rain Maker is still a big fat liar! To demonstrate, here was my account balance in Las Vegas before I attacked someone on the fight list.
Here is me kicking someones ass and winning V$65,000.

V$9,750 is 15% of V$65,000 bringing the total amount of cash I received from this fight to V$74,750. The entire 15% can be accounted for because my Safecracker offers a bonus of 15% more cash from fights. Where is the additional 5% promised by the Rain Maker? If the Rain Maker bonus was working, I should have received an additional V$3,250 bringing the total to $V78,000 for the attack.

In September, the Rain Maker bug was addressed by Bossy Don on the Zynga Forum Boards in her post titled
A Letter to the Devs. Another bug that that she pointed out was the fact that players needed to have 50,000 successful heists from the old robbing system in order to give the maximum Safecracker bonus of 15%. You can see here that Bossy Don had 222,500 successful robberies and was only a 6% Safecracker!
This issue has been fixed so it should be a lot easier to find a 15% Safecraker than it was before. Here is Bossy Don today and you can see she is now a 15% Safecraker.
Been given blackmail letter at least 5 times now from different sources within game, says it is for boss fights, but only shows up in trophy list, no att or def, picked up most from shiv gift givers, what the heck is it useful for?
