New Southland Home Page Ad

Today Zynga took it up a notch in their venture to advertise the new season of Southland on TNT.  Two days ago, I discussed advertising on equipment items (1).  It shouldn't be a surprise that there is now a home page module devoted to the TNT show.
When you click on "Watch Video", you are directed to the Southland Fan Page and can watch the video from there.  That's all you get. No Reward Points like we have seen for other third party advertisements. I guess they figured the Limited Time Free Gift called the Southlander was reward enough.  Too bad it won't help higher level players. I wonder how much TNT paid Zynga for all the PR?  Too bad they picked a game that is too time consuming and anyone who plays probably doesn't have time to watch TV!

    Shh...what are you doing letting the marketing people know that we don't watch TV. Let them spend corp money to advertise and maybe we will see popups decrease. :))
