With the holidays right around the corner, I was surprised at the latest Marketplace promotion. Where is the Christmas spirit? If you have 35 Reward Points to spare, you can get Sonny's Suit which is inspired after the infamous white suit worn by Detective Sonny Crockett in the 1980's television series Miami Vice. Notice the banner says "Limited Edition Items" with a S. This can only mean we will more to items to come like what we saw with the Carlito's Way inspired items.
"It's a killer suit" is a great description because if you showed up in a bar today wearing this get up, you would get your ass kicked! I don't think this outfit would even be acceptable in Las Vegas.
Remember back in August when the
Mafia Wars Street Team was riding around Las Vegas and talking to tourists? Well I had pointed out that the host of this event looked a lot like Sonny Crockett (played by Don Johnson). I guess they wanted to make a loot item in his honor.
