Rumble In Russia (again)

Rumble In Russia is not at a loss for information.  You will find the information hub under the missions section in your game.  When you get there you will find the same image as you do on the home page.

Along with with a flashy sign that says "Beat All 4 Bosses To Win.  Image of the Bosses along with quotes that changes every few seconds appear underneath.  Whoever was working in the Quote Department for this event must have been dipping in the Zynga Schwag Bags.  Some of them don't make sense and none of them are very scary.  Dasvidaniya means good-bye in Russian.  I don't know what effect "In Soviet Russia, Russia rumbles you!" is suppose to have.  "How about a nice Molotov cocktail?" and "How do you like my AK-47?" make me think my friend is ordering me a drink and asking me how I like her shoes.  Molotov cocktails and Ak-47s are old school anyways.  "The Cold War is not over" sounds like a bad history lesson.  "I am not a gentleman. I am a representative of the Soviet Union" sounded funny coming from Boss Bassinov who is a female. "I export pain and vodka, and I'm all out of vodka!" was also funny coming from the guy in the big hat who doesn't look like he could cause pain to anybody.

The reward items will also flash in between the quotes.

If you don't feel like waiting to see all the rewards, click on "See all the Rewards" and you will find the same information along with instructions on how to play.

Before you can start a Boss Fight, you have to have more than 10 heath left.

A nice feature that makes this event very fast is the addition of the Power Attack button.  Now you can perform 5 attacks with one click.

It will cost you 5 times the stamina so make sure you don't use it when the Bosses are almost defeated.  Here are the costs for each Boss on each level of mastery.  The top button is a single attack and the one below it is the power attack.

Zynga really wants us to ask for help.  In addition to the obvious "Ask for Help" button, you will get a pop-up every time you start or return to a fight.

There is a timer of 30 min and you can ask for help again when it expires.

Just in case you missed the pop-up and can't see the "Ask for Help" button that is in the center of the Boss Fight, your get a reminder.  Every time you make an attack you get a flash message that says "Don't forget to ask for help to defeat this boss!".  The sad truth is that most players won't need any help until the Gold Level but it's nice that Zynga doesn't want us to forget we have the option.  There is no such thing as too much Mafia Wars spam in the news feeds.

When your mafia members help you, they can get one of the reward loot items but can only have one in their inventory.  I helped my main account with my energy account and got the following message when I returned. I got a Big Z which is cool but when I defeated Vladimir Osipov with my energy account, I didn't get another one.

The Boss Fight consumable section has a new look.  The Las Vegas and Italy Boss Fights also have the new addition of a "Buy" button.  Each consumable costs 1 Reward Point and there isn't a limit on how many you can buy.  The cap is no longer 10 consumable items as long as you get the extras using Reward Points.  Notice on the image below that I have 14 Heath Kits.  When you buy a consumable, there is no verification screen so be careful not to click "Buy" because it will instantly give you the consumable along with a flash message while taking your Reward Point. Consumables work a little differently with Boss Fight Events than they do with the Bosses in Las Vegas and Italy. Each Health Kit will regenerate you to 100% health and each Stun Gun will stun the Boss for 2 attacks.

Consumables work a little differently with Boss Fight Events than they do with the Bosses in Las Vegas and Italy.  Each Health Kit will regenerate you to 100% health and each Stun Gun will stun the Boss for 2 attacks.
What's also cool about this is the fact that one consumable like the Stun Gun will work for all 5 attacks if you use the power attack option.

Here are all the Boss Fights on every level of mastery along with the Boss health statistics and the time alloted for each fight.  If the timers run out, you have to start over.  This shouldn't be a problem for most players, especially if you ask your mafia to help you.

When you defeat any of the bosses, you can generate a wall post so that your mafia members can collect a bonus.

Look for the posts above and click on Get Bonus in the lower right corner. All you get is 20 experience points and $1,000 Vegas cash.  I'm not sure if there is a limit yet.  I've collected over ten.  Once this bonus is added to Stream Helper by Team Spockholm, I should be able to determine what the maximum number of bonuses we can accept for the event is.

When your all finished, your Bosses will all have a big red X over their image, all 3 stars will be colored in and your overall attack and defense scores should be increased.  You will also have to look at this for 7 more days.  Overall this event was not very challenging and much easier than the Boss Fight events we have seen in the past.
