New Lucky Stash Loot

The Lucky Stash slot machine bonus will now pay out new loot items.  You will get the following pop-up when you log into your Mafia Wars account.  It's nice that Zynga has finally told us what some of the loot items are.  You can see they are all pretty good so you may want to remember to go through your news feeds and earn free spins by playing on your mafia members Lucky Stash slot machines (not to be confused with their Las Vegas slot machines).

This isn't the first time new loot items have been added but it's the first time we have been told what they are.  Since Zynga has never bothered telling us about the loot in the past, it's hard to know for sure exactly what loot is available from bonus spins.  The best way to tell is to check out the Mafia Wars Wiki Lucky Stash Page.  You will find all of the known loot items listed.  Here are the ones that have been available prior to tonights update.

To start earning loot, play on your Lucky Stash machine as much as possible.  You can get there by clicking the slot machine icon on top of your game header.

Or by searching your news feeds for free spin requests.

I wait until I get a lot of free spins and then go to my won Lucky Stash machine.  Your bonus meter will fill up one notch for every spin you make regardless if it's a free one or one you used Reward Points for.

When the bonus meter is full, click on the "Bonus" button to get the bonus spinner.  It will either land on Loot or Reward Points.  I think it's almost always loot.

When it's all finished spinning, you will get your reward.  I got one of the new loot items, a Indian Katar.

Pistol Pete got a Magma Magnifique and he was quite pleased.

If you return to your game and are out of free spins, it's better to go back to your news feeds to get more.  Remember Reward Points are best spent on skill points or to speed up the crafting timers on NY building properties.  Look before you spin as Zynga quickly turns the Lucky Stash into a Reward Point sucker machine!  The differences are subtle and you could end up spending Reward Points without realizing it.
