Italy Region 1: Roma

Share:

Roma is the first Region of Italy. It's very much like Las Vegas but has a few twists.  I'm not sure what the other Regions have in store but there were no real challenges in Roma.  The first and key difference from Las Vegas is we have the option to not perform all the paths.  This is great news for players who don't have a lot of energy or stamina.  As soon as you defeat a boss, you advance to the next tier.

Region 1 has a energy and a fight path.  The image below contains all the job requirements, payouts, and experience/energy ratios for the energy path.  You will notice that the energy requirements for each job are low but the experience/energy ratios are bad.
The fight path contains 3 stamina jobs that aren't common to the energy path.  The requirements, payouts, and experience/stamina ratios are below.  Notice that I'm on the Ruby level of mastery even though I didn't perform any of the jobs.
The image above was taken after I defeated the Boss. You can go back to these jobs and perform them but only at the level you are on.  By skipping the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels, you will miss out on a total of 9 skill points.
There are a few special jobs in both paths.  The first one is the Property job.
The special loot item that drops in this job is Volcanic Bricks.  They are needed to upgrade your Villa property.
When you master this job, you will get access to your second property, The Village Villa.
The next special jobs are the ones that produce a consumable item which you will need to perform another job in the path.  I got excited because I thought I caught Zynga in a spelling error with the energy job.  I looked into it and learned that Coliseum is an alternate way to spell the word Colosseum (1).  This disturbing consumable item is called a Severed Pinky.  It costs 14 energy points to do the job on the bronze level and 32 on the Ruby level.  You can also make the Severed Pinky using stamina in the fight path job Assassinate a Corrupt City Official.  It cost 12 stamina points on the Bronze Level and 27 on the Ruby.  Strategically, it would be best to farm enough Severed Pinky's to get through the entire Region.
The last special job requires one Severed Pinky per click.
The Severed Pinky, common and unique property building parts are not giftable at this time.
The Boss of Region 1 is Antonio Di Rossa.  The amount of time you have to defeat him before he heals to 100% decreases with each mastery level and his health level increases.  You can ask your mafia to help you and you can leave the fight to heal yourself and come back.

LevelStamina Per AttackTimeHealth
Bronze148 Hours300
Silver236 Hours450
Gold324 Hours900
Ruby412 Hours1,800

For each level that you defeat Antonio Di Rossa, you automatically master the tier and get a Di Rossi's Shotgun.  This is a weapon and the stats increase with each level maxing out at 107 Attack and 69 Defense.
There are 5 different loot items that drop randomly in Region 1.  The stats aren't the greatest but this is Region 1.  The information posted on the Zynga Customer Support page (1), has The Italian Wolf listed as dropping in Region 1 but it doesn't.  Also we learn that the Asino which was not given a equipment class is a animal.
