Loyalty Program Updates: Part 2

Yesterday I wrote about the Mafia Wars Loyalty Program.  Today, another post has made on The Official Mafia Wars Blog.  The subject is about all about loyalty.  Click on the link above or enlarge the image here to read it.
As Mafia Wars players, we are loyal to each other.  Now Zynga is asking us to be loyal to them.  In Zyngaland, loyalty equates to money.  This is a tough one because we often view Zynga as the enemy.  It's kind of like they are The Feds.  We are constantly looking for ways to beat their system and have so much fun whenever we do.  They get mad at us and we get mad at them.  It's a definite love/hate relationship.  If you're going to throw some D's on your Mafia Wars character, you might as well get something more than just Reward Points.

    its dumb, loyalty is meant for long time players not spenders. Zynga is still the enemy - take no prisoners and dont give them a dime

    It's funny, the seem to have rolled this "loyalty" program to people that don't play a lot or have not spend real $$$ on the game. My wife's account has not spent a real dime and is purely energy with a small mafia. I have spent some $$ on my account and my style is a balanced/fighter account= NO LOYALTY program. A friend who has bigger pockets than me has spent $$$ on the game yet she hasn't picked up the promotion- only her husband who has a small energy account. Yeah, they rolled this out to a small percentage (it seems to people that have not spent $$$) and have ignored the 35% discount on RP's and other discounts to actual paying customers.
