The Zynga Forum Boards by Blue-Eyed Nate, Community Manager and you will get hit with a bunch of pop-ups when you visit the Marketplace. We will have a chance to buy 5 Limited Edition items and 50% of the proceeds will go to FATEM to help build a school in Haiti.
TechCrunch estimates that Zynga will bring in $240 Million in revenue this year. Why only 50%? With that much money, you would think they could just build a couple of Haiti Schools and not even miss it. I would feel better about buying these items if I knew 100% of the proceeds was going to a good charity.

In addition to the Limited Edition Charity Loot items you can buy out right, you also can also get loot items for filling your Marketplace purchase mastery bar. This promotion is similar to the ones we saw on Memorial Day and Forth of July. Each purchase you make brings you one step closer to getting a loot item. Treasure chest keys, 1 Extra Mafia Member, Health Refills, Fight Club items and Loyalty Program items DO NOT qualify towards the mastery event. The Charity items will also count.
