Armory Depot: Part 2

Share:

The Armory Depot has arrived and it's not going to be easy to get all the parts.  As per The Officala Mafia Wars Blog, "It's going to take some effort to build a kick-ass Armory. The only way to build an Armory is with construction parts. You can either spend reward points to build it or ask friends to send you parts. Parts will not drop from doing jobs or fighting rivals the way the Chop Shop and Weapons Depot do."  They should change "a kick-ass Armory" to "a pain in the ass" Armory.
Go to your NY Property Section and you will see a new addition.  The Armory Depot has arrived.
Your Armory starts out at Level 1.  To build a piece of Armor or upgrade the property, click on Build or Upgrade.
When you click on upgrade, you will get a pop-up notifying you of the bad news that the only way to get the required parts is to ask your friends to send them to you or buy the with Reward Points.  Yes, "It's the only way!".  Click on the "Ask Friends for Help!" button to start the process.  When your mafia members click on "Send Parts", you will get a part.  I'm not 100% what the cap is but I believe 5 people can send you a part.
You will then be directed to your upgrade page.  Here you can ask for the part of your choice by clicking on the "Ask for more" button.  If you're in a hurry, you can just buy your way to the next level using 25 Reward Points.
You can also send up to 40 mafia members a part.  Click on Send Items and you will be directed to the Free Gift Page.  Accounts have a different parts that they can send.  I can send Hammers to people.
You can ask for even more parts from the Free Gift page.
To start building the available Armory Items, click on build and you will get a revolving screen to see what is available and how many parts you will need to build them.  The higher the level, the better the items will be that you can build.  The first 3 Levels are Mystery Armors.  Since Armory parts don't drop from jobs, fights, or robberies and they aren't on the Free Gift page, I wouldn't waste them on these items.
I opened one and got a lousy Gene Splicer.
The rest of the items are below.  I'm not very impressed with any of these and I'm not very worried that I can't figure out how to get Armory parts to build them.  The skill point bonuses aren't that great either.  The last 3 offer Skill Point bonuses of +1 Attack and Defense, +10 Health, and +2 Energy and Stamina respectively.  These are aren't as good as the Chop Shop of Weapons Depot but I like the +10 Health bonus of the MNU Suit.  In addition to the Armory Parts, we will need a Bio-Monitor and Micro-Mission Cell for the last 2 Armors.

I did a job run on Distrct 8 of Las Vegas.  Out of 2,581 jobs, I got 17 Bio-Monitors.  I haven't figured out where the Armory Parts or Micro-Fission Cells come from.  Please comment if you know.

  2. It's only the Bio-monitor. I checked my inventory. No clue where the other items are supposed to come from.

  4. I got 2 Bio-monitors from random District 7 and 8 Jobs and also looted one from a Mystery Bag. Still haven't got a Micro-Fusion Cell to build the last Armory item (The Power Armor)If there is a way to put it on your Wish List then I'm sure it would drop as one of those "You got a random item from your Wish List)...Mystery Bag Loot.

  6. Same person as above...I also haven't been able to loot any Parts either to make them...But I also have a level 10 already and waited until it was fully upgraded to collect my parts, sent about 25 from other accounts and still didn't have enough to make the last item...Not that I can without the Micro-Fusion Cell :(

  8. I have 50 micro fissions in inventory. They dropped from doing jobs in Las Vegas. I have done over 200k worth of energy throughout every city (40k in each city) and over 8k worth of fights and not 1 armor part has dropped. I have tried every Tier, District, & Job numerous times during this attempt to gain them. My thoughts are they will only be obtained when collected at the armory.

  9. I did have a few build items for the armor depot drop at first, but it seems they aren't dropping anymore or at least haven't for me. I am the one who posted above too.

  12. easy way to get armoury parts, find someone you can rob, check if they've built the armoury, if they have rob it, free refresh, rob again, and repeat till you have what you need.

  13. @ The person who is suggesting to rob other people of their part - any chance you did some calculation as to the ratio of stamina spent vs. parts gained? Pls do that - you'll quickly figure out it's a waste of stamina.
