Secret Stashes, Again!

Share:

The following article about Secret Stashes is from my friends at The Daily Post.  I've written a few articles about the Secret Stash feature and all the problems associated with it (1),(2).  Once again, people are blaming Gamers Unite for stealing their loot with a tool called The Snag Bar.  This is the most ludicrous rumor because you can't send loot to somebody who is not in your mafia and The Snag Bar is for the game Farmville.  Like most things with Zynga, they start out good and progressively get worse.  Just like the Mystery Bags and Daily Checklists, the Secret Stashes haven't been worth the effort it takes to accept them.  I started out getting High End Fighting Loot and now on the rare occasion that one of them actually works, I get Cuba Loot.  I wish Zynga would just eliminate this feature.  There are so many things to do in the game and I don't have time to open and delete all these defective, wall cluttering useless stashes.  Click HERE to read this and other great articles on The Daily Post's News Page.

Zynga has now admitted that the missing secret stashes are a glitch in their programming and have nothing to do with bots, programs or tools being used by any other party. In other words, no one is stealing anyone's loot.
To the people who are deleting their mafia family for belonging to Gamers Unite -- you're deleting good players and good people because of lies and misinformation. I've asked over and over for proof that Zynga has said the secret stashes were missing because of bots/programs/tools as so many have claimed. No one could ever provide me with it.
Here's a screen shot proving that it's a Zynga programing glitch and nothing more than that.

Hello Leisa,
Thanks for contacting Zynga Customer Support.
This is James again! I fully understand you are not trying to be rude. In fact, you have the right to know. No bots/programs/tools are responsible for the secret stashes not working all the time. This is happening due to a known issue that our game developers have been trying to fix. This is not responsibility of any entity or group, this is just an error in the game which we are trying to eliminate. This is a Zynga issue and therefore, we are going to have it fixed.
I truly apologize for all the inconveniences this might be causing to you and to other players. The game developers are going to have this solved as soon as possible.
If you have any other questions or inconveniences, please let me know, I'm always happy to help!
Thank you for playing Mafia Wars, Leisa! And thanks a lot for your concern./
Kind regards,
James

Now there's proof posted here, and if anyone STILL believes after this that secret stashes are being stolen by others, they're beyond ridiculous and really need to get off the internet before they hurt themselves.
Zynga "Zyngas" Itself Right in the Bottom
I decided to write to Zynga myself and see what they had to say about secret stashes being "found" and the persistent posts about programs/bots/tools being used to grab them. I've read replies to others from them regarding this matter. All said the same thing...

  1. Stealing Loot wasn't the ONLY issue..since "purging" GU, my health has finally been above 150 for more than 50% of the time. And lastly if you can't sit behind the keyboard and actually play yourself, then you shouldn't be playing at all. Its a BOT... doing some or most of the dirty work you are just too lazy to do to help yourself or your family. And that's why "good players" (ahem) are being removed.

  2. "Anonymous" - What the hell has your health got to do with anything? And you are obviously misinformed as the Snag Bar is not a fully blown BOT, nor does it have anything to do with Mafia Wars AT ALL. Back to the herd for you.

  3. As I see it,, this a gaming community.. Game being the word.. Anyone using Bots should reflect on why they are even playing.. The fun of the game is why we all came .. Where is the fun if you have a tool to do all the work for you ?? And yes, I know a few members that use bots and have removed them from my friends list.. cheaters are cheaters

  5. Oh, and, as I see it - anyone who plays this game heavily knows well the need for such tools. Except, this tool DOESN'T FREAKING WORK ON MAFIA WARS. Geez, Read Jen's post at least before inserting your lame justifications for not being able to think for yourself.

  6. So a lot of discussion on these so called Bot things, I was just wondering,
How many of your friends use Bot’s??
    How can you tell, well
    • Do you always receive help on your Jobs that you post?
    • Do you always get the parts you post?
    • Do you always get help in your War’s
    • Do you always get a returned gift
From the last few day of discussing this I have been really looking into these bot things, and it seems that , believe this or not, the owner of the bot actually only benefits for it use about 35% of the time, it is more likely that the Bot owner Mafia Benefits more, because the more their mafia post the more the bot answers for their mafia. So even if you don’t own or run a bot, please be very aware you are reaping the benefits 10 fold. Think about it!!!!
