I'm happy to report that The TopMafia.Info Forum is back up and running.  This is a great site that augments the The TopMafia.Info Fan Page.  These guys (and girl) are smart and put out really good information.  I've utilized this resource many times and have found it has guided me in formulating my overall game strategy.  The moderators Yonks, VCDBurn, and Bossy Don, and The Fabulous Irish Da Kid, who is also a moderator for The Mafia Wars Wiki Site, have always been helpful and their goal is to help the Mafia Wars community by providing accurate and up to date information.  Their primary focus is game strategy.

The other day i made a post on the fanpage in regards to debunking a rumor that you gained more SP's for your RP's by waiting to reset your CS/WD timers at 12 hours instead of 24 hours. Some people misunderstood the point i was trying to get across and thought i was saying it was better to spend your RP's at the marketplace for 4 skill points which wasn't at all my point. Anyway just to clear things up this is how we feel all the options to spend your RP's rank.

Note: This is by no means the end all be all order, every account varies and some options may be better for them then others.....this is just the list that we recommend as it benefits the majority of our users. 1 - Some people will argue this is better then RP's, there is some logic to that arguement as you will in the long run get to a higher level in the game. However the example i like to use is that two level 1000 accounts one spent all of its RP's on refills, the other spent all of its RP's on 6 stamina via the CS/WD . The account that used its RP's on 6 stamina at the CS/WD has 250 more skill points then the account that purchased refills. Our recommendation is to purchase skill points so that you will be able to be competitivly balanced to other people at or around your level. Purchasing a bunch of refill's will cause you to end up at a higher level but most likely much weaker then those in your level range. Also, if you are all stamina or energy.....Skill points far outweigh refills, they will extend the maximum level that you can serial level to, and even after you stop serial leveling you will be wasting most of your investment on refills as you will only need a small fraction of the refill 2 - Personally i still say the best class to be is maniac, this is due to the fact you can still use the loophole to be promoted as wheelman(fearless) and bagman(mogul). As far as the class bonuses, fearless gets a 2 minute reduction in the stamina regen timer, this results in an additional 256 stam per 24 hours....Maniacs get an addtional 512 energy per 24 hours due to the golden throne from mastering boss tier in new york. As far as mogul goes, the 40% extra money is really just a superficial bonus IMHO while extra money is nice, it its not as nice as the additional regen from being a maniac. But in the long run this boils down to personal prefference and playstyle. The point is as long as it's used wisely it's still a better investment towards character strength then the options 8/9/10 3 - These are sometimes necessary if you join or leave a clan, they really are wasted RP's but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. 4 - These are really a waste in the long run. Short term benefits may be tempting but eventually.....no matter how much you rationalize it.....they will be wasted.
