Many players have lost their Mafia Wars Accounts because their Facebook Accounts were lost. Facebook Accounts can be disabled or lost due to terms of service violations, hackers, password retrieval problems, abusive reporting, and many other issues. If this happens to you or someone you know it can be devastating. All the hard work that went into building your Mafia Wars Character will be lost. I often see random petitions to help one individual get their account back. The "If you know someone who has lost their account" Fan Page has created a petition which groups all players into one petition called "Against random disabling of gamers on Facebook". Zynga doesn't want you to lose your Mafia Wars Account either. They are working on solutions so players can get their accounts back if there is a Facebook problem. The implementation of the Central Mainframe Access Code is one of the ways they will be able to identify you as the owner of your Mafia Wars Account. As of now, we get weekly bonuses for using this feature. I foresee the secret access code becoming a very important thing when it comes to account security. Hang on to these codes!!!
