Skype Transcripts: Multi-Gifting Feature Feedback

For those who criticized the leaders of the trading community and their efforts to open the lines of communication with Zyngat, this one is for you.  Progress is being made and Zynga is interested in what the traders are looking for in regards to the gifting system.  I discussed the multi-gifting feature that is in the Beta testing phase (1) and Zynga has asked for feedback and is making a good effort to find out what the players want.
The following is a Skype transcript of a several players discussing the new multi-gifting feature with 3 Zynga Representatives.  For privacy concerns, I was asked to remove the players names before posting this.  I have left the replaced all the player names with "Player".  I also removed some of the non-relevant comments.  As soon as an official version is posted somewhere, I will replace this one.  I should have numbered the players and it would be easier to follow.

[5:01:52 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Not a problem.  I've going to give everyone about 4 more minutes to get settled then we'll get started.

[5:05:53 PM] Nate Zyngaman: We have launched Multi Gifting in an invite only beta test mode.
[5:05:59 PM] Player: Please guys, I dont want to be rude, but let nate and V do the talking please
[5:06:59 PM] Nate Zyngaman: I will talk about what we've launched in just a bit, but wanted to extend the invite first and tell you how to get involved.

[5:09:18 PM] Nate Zyngaman: You may experience some loss of functionality on 3rd party tools.

[5:10:22 PM] Nate Zyngaman: There is a daily ceiling to how many gifts can be sent.  This is for development purposes and the ceiling can be raises and adjusted to meet needs.

[5:10:55 PM] Player: I've tested it today... It took 77 seconds to load my gifting page, 46 seconds to send 10 items, and than i had to go thru 5600 names to find the person to send 10 more..

[5:11:15 PM] Player: 10k/day is cool with me for Beta purpose provided that it does not extend into the weeks

[5:14:46 PM] Player: The main concerns that we voiced at the last conference is speed, quantities, safety, accuracy
[5:15:09 PM] Player: if it has a delay, i would not want it. I dont need slow on top of slow

[5:15:32 PM] Player: Delay is that you have to load it.. Than find the name.

[5:16:22 PM] Player: We don't use the gifting page even when you are sending a single item because of the computer lag and the pain of finding the actual mafia

[5:21:06 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Ok... This is first steps and not meant to solve all the issues that have been discussed previously.  What we are looking for is feedback on how it functions.

[5:22:53 PM] Player: Are we planning on centralizing the Beta feedback or are you just wanting a list emailed to you or V
[5:22:56 PM] Nate Zyngaman: Info like it still doesn't solve the problem of stuff getting stolen = not what it is intended :)

[5:34:51 PM] Jill: Again this testing is being offered to all of you first and then we will start ramping up more additions randomly after we are solid with the design and feedback.

[5:36:03 PM] Player: superb... I will work with it on my account before offering to my officers and top traders. By invitation and with a synopsis of the limitations and benifits so they can better make a decision on their participation

[5:36:19 PM] Jill: If we need to, we can potentially set up a private testing forum.  I'll talk over those points with Nate.
[5:36:49 PM] Player: I do have a quick question. How fast of a turn around on suggestions you guys can work with?
[5:37:01 PM] Player: Any other updates coming? State of Union was mentioned in last few days. What else can we expect? Giftable vegas? Dist 7 and 8
[5:37:03 PM] Nate Zyngaman: That depends on the suggestion.
[5:37:37 PM] Jill: we'll compile the feedback.  The main Developer that is working on this is taking a vacation this next week.  So I want to set the expectation that no changes will be released until after Labor Day.
[5:37:39 PM] Player: Is it ok to chat V about technical limitations?
[5:37:39 PM] Nate Zyngaman: We are working on what items will be giftable.
[5:38:25 PM] Player: That was mentioned in last meeting about giftbale loot in Vegas, and we are still at same spot

[5:58:44 PM] Player: The game was designed in a way where both energy accoutns and fighter accounts had advantage. But lately it has been all fighters and energy accounts are dying. I have feeling we should give equal importance to  both

  3. That may be my fault. "Player" is actually about 5 or 6 different people. I was asked to remove the names and didn't think to number them. I also removed the useless chit chat and most of the lol's so "Player" might not seem like a very social person. I will link a better version once somebody publishes it. This was kind of unofficial.
