Zynga Addresses Loading Issues...AGAIN

Share:

For well over a month the loading issues in Mafia Wars have become unbearable. They've been around for at least a year but have progressively gotten worse. Looking through the support documents, we see the same thing with different titles. Today is no exception [1]. Last month they called it 'Having Difficulty', last week they called it 'Having Trouble' and today it's 'Unable'. Soon they will make a post saying it's all fixed and then the next day we will see more loading issues. It's an endless cycle. It all points to the same thing...the game is not performing as it should. There are many things to complain about but getting into the game shouldn't be one of them. I pretty much stopped playing as it's more work than it is fun. I'm very close to shutting down this site as I'm tired of posting the same things over and over. When I can't even get into the game it's more frustrating than anything else and real life already has stressful things to deal with. Games were meant to be fun and relieve stress. Zynga has forgotten this simple philosophy and until they can get it back I really don't want to play!

  1. Maybe we should all help Jen out and take a vote to help her decide.....

Vote YES if you want Jen to shut Mafia Wars Loot Lady down and be happy again.

Vote NO if you want Jen to continue the boredom of posting the same Zynga stuff over and over again.

I personally thank Jen for the sacrifice she has made all these years. Too bad Zynga made us all suffer while taking our money....hard lesson learned. Never again.

  2. Fun and relieve stress - that's EXACTLY what games should be designed to do. Not be the cause of nightmares and inducing stress. Somewhere along the way, Zynga stopped caring about the game, the quality of the game and most importantly, the ones who actually play the game. But, no-one can really blame them. Zynga simply took advantage of the fact that their gamers were 100% loyal and addicted to the game - meaning that we would all take whatever they threw at us. And over time, this fact became more and more clear to Zynga, which then just took more and more advantage - creating a game from Hell.

And this is what we are up against today - a game from Hell... where everything is about painful repetition. Zynga is cutting back on game performances (loading issues, game errors etc,) and looping the 10 same equally painful events (lowering costs to keep game afloat) Zynga doesn't care about anything anymore - they are ONLY abusing and taking advantage of the loyal player base, who keeps hoping that Zynga will one day "wake up" and finally start caring again and fix the game. But it will NEVER ever happen... and I think these past few months are more than enough proof of that. But, as long as we keep playing and taking whatever Zynga dishes out - Zynga will continue their shit and abuse.

It's really sad, that a game SO many people used to love ans spend countless hours playing will, when gone, only be remembered for its poor management, vast and loading issues :(

  3. i could not get the game to load so i could not build so again through no fault of my own i have lost skills....
i have spent alot of money on this game but i guess zynga wont look into who could not build because of loading issues and give them the skills back they lost out on!!!.... They should sell the game to a companyy who will fix the issues and develop the game or we could all quit and go and play mob wars which is the game zynga copied and got sued for :P So fark you zynga i quit your crap game

    1. My mob wars account is still active, and primed to go. I simply wish zynga would shut the game down or sell it to a company who cares about its players. It positively baffles me how people can still pay for this shit. They saw my last cent when they refused to listen to a majority of players who are having difficulty with carnage. I do well in Carnage, at least in NY where I can deal massive damage, but what is the point when so many people can't play in this new system? The stats have been consistently down about 2000 or slightly more players since the start of Carnage, and I expect with the continuing loading issues (note: zynga lied about why they were switching to Carnage since the loading issues didn't go away) it will cause even more players to leave the game permanently. No other company, gaming or otherwise, would be allowed to get away with how zynga treats its customers, but zynga seems to be an exception to all reasonable rules of business.

  5. It's funny that only a few months ago everyone blamed fighting accounts for the loading problems. They were happy Zynga destroyed our way of playing if it fixed the loading problems for them. Now the changes are put in and the loading problems are worse thsn ever. Go figure...

    1. If they announced that the game will be shut down at a specific date - how many VIPs would you guess would cancel their subscription? My guess is, WHEN the game will be announced for shut down, it will be with EXTREMELY short notice, so that their loss from VIP subscriptions will be minimal... they wanna take it as far as they can... THEN announce the game will be shut down within 1-2 weeks...

    2. When the game finally does shut down due to people quitting, and all at zynga who worked on the MW team lose their jobs--oh, and they will--perhaps some of them will be disgruntled enough to finally tell us the truth of why they seem to be intentionally screwing with this game to make it unplayable. I can't for a second believe that any company would hire techs that are so inept that they can't make such a simple game as this run more smoothly.

I half think all these game problems are done intentionally to force more and more people to quit. Really! I would put nothing past this company!

  7. Zynga changed servers; thus limiting ALL game play. It's their sadistic way of saying they are shutting the game down! JUST DO IT ZYNGA GIVE US THE WORD!!!

  8. Agree with the game will shut down on very short notice, agree that they are making it worse and worse by probably cutting server space until it withers to nothing. Agree that Jen should make herself happy and quit this game. But Id like her to dangle along in the blog, with some humourous updates. it keeps us amused in no way that MW can anymore. Jen can drop any blog posts about stuff Zynga wants us to spend money on, it could be her own little way to flip Z the bird!
At this point there are no blog posts about any game events that are of any purpose because they are all on their 30th or more time through the same events. Maybe all you have to do, Jen is make a post about once a week about loading issues :) *you know they're gonna be there*
