Lucky Break Security Checks Return

Share:

For the 4th time in a row, the Lucky Break event brings with it Facebook security checks. We shouldn't be worried because Zynga posted some helpful advice during the last event [1]. All you need to do is click on the images that correspond to what they are asking and like magic you should be able to post! Obviously Zynga hasn't tried this out for themselves. What they fail to mention here is that you need to do this a total of 5 times (each time will be a fail) and then the security check will convert to a captcha which you then need to answer correctly. All this clicking for one post is a little to much [1]. This event needs to be canned if Zynga can't come up with requests that don't trigger a Facebook security check. Since not all Mafia Wars posts do this it should be pretty simple to find something else than what they have. It can't be a good thing to have security checks regarding something you personally are going to post. What happens if a player gets too many of these and some Facebook robot decides that your account is up to no good? Could accounts be lost over this? We are all at risk and Zynga continues to do nothing about it except give us bad advice for working around it.

  1. Wow... this was new!! Security pop ups, you say?? Really??!! And for the 4th time in-a-row too?? WOW... well, I'm sure Zynga will get right on this and fix it for you guys, RIGHT after they are done NOT giving a F*UCK, haha.

Why keep posting about this crap? Nothing is working the way it's supposed to and Zynga is too busy not giving a f*ck about anything - it's like the News reporting about another shooting somewhere... it's not really "news" when it happens all the time... right? Oh well... 10 for effort

  5. I don't really like these new security checks every website uses, the old ones just asked you to enter a bunch of letters.. much easier

  7. A friend of mine's account was locked due to security Wednesday night. She got all the photos correct the first time.
She played the card game yesterday. Now her account is locked again for security check...
The game is not the only thing broke, but it appears the security check is also broke.... Aren't there any humans that can stop the madness. Now I realize I'll probably be pulled into the security check again now that I spoke up, like I was when I commented about how long it was taking to accept gifts....
Isn't there a human being that cares about the people on Facebook?

    1. LOL... the amount of human beings caring about the people on Facebook, is probably equal to the amount of "real" human beings playing MW manually :P You're out of luck, buddy. No-one cares about anything anymore, anywhere. Everything is computerized and automated. But being a script-abuser yourself (not that I know you are, but I assume so) I would think you would appreciate things being automated and run by computer programs ;) If you abuse something for your own gain... don't come crying when it works against you... *throws anonymous a cookie and a tissue* Chin up!

  8. Yes, accounts can and have been lost over the security checks -- I have lost 2. It is why I no longer play ANY Zynga games and, actually, rarely use FB anymore.

    1. Aww, poor cheater... BUT, I am pretty sure it says somewhere that you are only allowed to have ONE Facebook account... but of course, I could be wrong - and of course, in YOUR self-righteous mind EVERYONE else is at fault... Zynga and Facebook... for ruining your cheating game with multiple fake accounts... having a hard time finding any sympathy... try looking inwards, buddy and stop making yourself look like a fool in public! Cheese ;)

  9. Due to security check nightmare, I don't share vaults anymore Unless it's the rare card of the day.
