Loading Problems..Same Shit, Different Day!

Share:

Today we once again find Mafia Wars inaccessible. This time it's the 'Forbidden' error message which I guess is better than a plain old white screen. By now it should be obvious to Zynga that they aren't capable of fixing the loading issues. How long are we supposed to go on like this? I'm sure there are new events waiting for us and timers ticking. All we can do is wait...

  2. Not to mention once again can't get into the message center either by trying to open it in the game or by gift collector or any other script! Took me over 20 tries to get to the arena to get the last of the tokens and it doesn't look like they registered because my token number didn't change and I signed off in 1st place so I should have got something!

  3. A little better now but still far from respectable. Had all sorts of weird things happen, at one point my south africa properties were back on the home page waiting to be collected! That tells me they are mid fix, but they should just take it down until the issue is resolved then bring it back - even if the fix takes a few weeks. It still feels like the whole thing is balanced on a knife edge, if they touch anything they seem to set of a chain reaction of issues elsewhere.

  5. As each problem comes to the fore. we are penalized because we cannot finish missions and ops. At no time do Zynga compensate for their inability to run a sound program that is error free. As a long term player of Mafia. ex VIP account and pay player I am getting some what disillusioned. Seems they are happy to take from us and give nothing in return. Apart from a fractured game that many are leaving. Zynga need to be accountable to all players. Paid or otherwise. Keep it up Zynga and a whole lot more will abandon not just Mafia but all Zynga product.....your share holders will be pissed if that goes down

  6. What's forbidden to me now for the past week or so is the ZMC. I submitted two trouble tickets. The first one they refilled my stamina, which I didn't need as I was almost full anyway and on the second one they tell me that they are aware of the problem and pointed me to their blog page which is their way of blowing me off. I looked at some of their coding and I saw a problem with their Java script. The main problem always remains - the server issue. They're idiots but want to make it seem like we're the idiots.

    1. By the fact you were able to contact them indicates you are still paying for this game. Until people stop handing them money, they will continue to dish up the crap they have been serving us. I stopped spending on the game at the beginning of September.owing to the fact they have no care for the position they put players in, when they overnight decided to radically change the game format. Rather than listen to players, they offered a sweet deal to rejoin VIP by a certain date and preserve your progress. Many were crazy enough to sign up again. Why do people so blindly financially support this game? I knew zynga was lying about the reason for carnage. Game performance is worse now than it ever was! People need to stop paying for the game! Sure there is a risk in them shutting the game down if they lose more money, but I will guarantee that within a month of being without mw, people... addicts like me, will realise how nuts we were to have allowed ourselves to be scammed for so long. I'm looking forward to breaking my addiction through being forced out of the game by shutdown. I'm already making plans for all the extra time I'll have.

    2. The reason people still pay money on this game is because they are addicted. It's the same reason TLL is still operating this site and why a small number of us still read it. We have played this game for many years and some of us have spent alot of money to build a strong character. Giving up now makes up feel like we wasted all of that time, effort, and money for nothing. It's a tough thing to come to terms with but the truth of the matter is that this game will never improve and once the profit level dips below a certain point this game will be shut down. Zynga doesn't care one bit about how much all of us love this game. They are a business and they moved on to the next big thing years ago. This game has been on the decline for several years and we all know it.
