Also Released & Ongoing...

Share:

The big news of the day is Japan but Zynga released a bunch of other stuff too. I don't feel like making individual posts so here it goes. After the new stuff is the ongoing stuff and it makes you wonder what they are thinking. This game is way too much work!

BUT FIRST.....
New Events
Ongoing Events
Zynga hopes with all these events and releases that we will take advantage of the 60% off reward points. I'm doing just the opposite. I'm not going to play!

  1. Well should all know by now this game only still around because of people spending money on it. It can't be anything to do with the player metrics as loads of games with loads more players than this one have been closed down before now so it has to be to do with the money spenders.

With that in mind of course they are going to be designing future releases around those spenders. Anything that is released these days will be something that will make them money.

  2. I am not even starting on Japan until missions for it being. Not worth it. Learned my lesson from LA. There is zero incentive to go up all the way.

The UA mission is an impossibility. Japan means another city will close soon. And scripts are ruining the game for the average player. Yup, seriously considering leaving MW.

    1. If Anon 8:36 is correct, then you won't be missed by MW. They don't respond to 'seriously considering.' We who play, scripters or not, like to have players in the active pool. I hope you stick around.

  3. This is insane. Players with a strong drive to finish all events must be in a frenzy - unless they're willing and able to spend a lot of money on a "free" internet game. The rest of us will just have to pick and choose.

    1. you, Sir, hit the nail directly on the head - this is the ONLY reason Zynga does this - to feed on the addiction on a lot of people who have a strong desire to finish everything FAST - even if it means spending money to buy RPs to help speed that process up. Don't forget all these events came at a VERY fortunate time (the 60% rip off) This is why Zynga throws all these events at us... out of GREED and to abuse the addiction of their loyal players, Never forget what we mean to them - we mean absolutely shit to them - all Zynga cares about is money. And the more events we have at the same time, the more likely is the chance of someone spending money to either finish fast or simply to keep up.

  4. I skipped L.A. so of course I'm skipping Japan, too. After almost 6 years playing, and it getting worse and worse, my wallet is also closed to any more encouragement for Zynga to release b.s. without fixing any problems. Eff them. The idiots can't even keep the header graphic current -- it still says Mexico, and MafiaWars.com still says Chicago! ...Morons!

    1. That's because Zynga know updating these icons does nothing for the game. It's not encouraging the current players to spend any more on it than they already are doing but it's not encouraging people who don't yet play to think about opening an account either. So rather than making the experience more enjoyable like every other game developer they just pick and choose the bits they like and still think people will be impressed enough to stick around and spend money with them as well.

  5. Just doing job 1 in Japan to farm the yen, no point in rushing into it, as there will be another urban assault along soon enough for Japan! As for the rest ... not going to pay to play, if i finish i finish, wont lose any sleep over it.

  6. What the hell is the mindset of Zynga releasing so many events at the same time??? I am a die-hard and will stay to the end, but I am getting tired. Zynga, release me from my agony.

  7. Working on the UA and Japan can wait.
