There have been 8 Urban Assault Missions to date and one thing they have in common is the mastery item has a limited time special ability. Some have been useful to all players, some have been useful to a handful of players and some have been so useless that it made us laugh. Regardless of what the special ability was, Zynga always mentioned in the instructions when they would expire. The special ability for Urban Assault 8 was (emphasis on the word was) no laundering fees when banking in Los Angeles. If you earned the item that granted this special ability, you will find that it is no longer there. I looked back at the instructions and Zynga never defined that it was temporary or when it would end. Comparing these instructions to those of the previous ones shown below, you can see that all the other Missions defined this variable for us. What's even more worrisome is that the loot item for the upcoming Urban Assault Mission doesn't even have a special ability attached to it [1]. Either we aren't getting one, Zynga wanted us to be surprised or they forgot to add it to the loot item description. All we know at this time is that they took the special ability from Urban Assault 8 away without warning or notice and that doesn't seem right. Thanks to Al Littley for bringing this to my attention.

And you are still surprised if you got bazyngaed again???? It was alos a little shock for me- and if I would have knew it, I would have chosen another way to play those 30 days it lasted... Was too good to be true- good faith in Zynga and f***unned up! As usual.... that's how you keep players playing that silly game.
ReplyDeleteactually, it did say it in 1 place. when you were in the mission and clicked on the loot item (top leftish) the description said that the ability was just until the next one

Another nerf: why do I keep losing my Brasil stamina boosts? I collect it, it's there. I move to another city to collect that one, and poof, it disappears. It has happened about 8 times in 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteI don't even do them anymore because one has to put so much time into the events with very little reward. It reminds me of the VIP program where the stats are rented even though the money spent in another way would grant a stat boost that wasn't based on subscription...
