About a year ago, Mafia Wars was added to the list of featured games on the Player Support site [1]. We were pretty happy about that because it was a good sign that Mafia Wars was here to stay. Today it's back with the 'Other Games' and there aren't too many of those left. This is not good for player confidence. Thanks to Oliver Scollon for noticing.

:0 .......damn not a good sign
ReplyDeleteHow scary is it that there are FOUR Farmville games now?
ReplyDeleteNo surprise. Zynga would not back up their MW players who were randomly targeted by Facebook for failing to pass Facebook;s NEW security tests. Most everyone failed the flawed test. And Facebook screwed up the appeal process also. No one from Facebook would address these wrongful suspensions. It won't be long before Zynga MW players will have to look for a new game to play and search for a more friendly social media to interact with their friends. WTG, Facebook and Zynga!! Soon your servers won't feel the overload <----- main reason for targeting innocent players (I'm one of them) - David A Taylor
ReplyDeleteThis is step 1 of the game shutdown procedure. This is exactly what happened to every other game before it was shut down. The end is near! (Don't waste your money.)
ReplyDeleteit didn't used to be there , then they put it there, now they have removed it again....whatever happens , happens....but I would not take it as a sign that the game is in its death throes

I love mafia wars, but lately with zynga throwing so much new content at you, all at once. I'm getting frustrated and if they do pull the plug. I would not really be all that bummed out
ReplyDeleteDon't waste my money?
ReplyDeleteI've not spent a cent on Mafia Wars since it started. A lot of time, but they've never had any money off me.
Purple Bananas!
ReplyDeleteThere was a time I would've been sad if they pulled the plug...now I think I'd just be relieved.
ReplyDeleteI gave up playing a month ago after playing for over five years. I don't miss it at all.
