The Cover Story Secret District is available on a pay to play basis. Cover Story was initially released in October of 2013 so you can only imagine how useless any items gained will be. Thankfully many of us have realized that pay to play Secret Districts aren't worth the efforts. Assuming you fully mastered it in the past, you will pay 27 reward points to gain 36 skill points which is only +9 skill points better than purchasing them during 2X Property Builds. Of course if you never touched it you will get the bonus skill points for collecting useless loot and it may be a better deal if you have the resources to easily complete it. I've ignored the last 3 of these and couldn't be happier doing so. Another thing to consider while making the decision to pay or skip is that doing this Secret District will wipe out your supply of 2X Mastery Boosts. Cape Courage is the next pay to play secret district. That was based in South Africa. South Africa is now closed down. I wonder how is this going to play out now.

Stop doing secret districts all together both pay to play and new ones?
Maybe they will bring back South Africa or at least part of it in the future so they could run it from there?
Or they might just not care that South Africa is there run it anyway and have it make no sense.
They could even decide just to skip the pay to play secret districts that take place in South Africa and only continue to do the other pay to play secret districts that happen in the other destinations.
I guess only time will tell. Until then all we can do is wait and see.
Talk about corporate missteps.....zYnga did a big one. 'in the beginning' zYnga took the time to set out rules, then did absolutely nothing to enforce them. The use of scripts to play a game that forbids the use of them should forfeit ones right to play the game. LEVEL playing field? Me thinks not! I enjoyed the game years ago, spent lots of money playing a game even though I didn't realize....I had no chance of winning...........No hard feelings for anyone who helped kill the game (illegal script users) for everyone but the smart and rich. I'm dumb and poor, so you figure it out from there. I met a lot of pleasant online people while playing the game, that is the only caveat I can claim, in this disastrous game. Mentioned that I am dumb, well that won't change, and I will always be poor, but there are much better things to do with my time. Even though we approach the game with different styles, I've always loved Jennifer the blogger. Again I say, I've met a lot of pleasant people playing the game, you may even be one. Hats off if you are one.
