There is another opportunity for Zynga not to listen to us. They want us to take a survey regarding the VIP Membership Program. I found an interesting question and this is the first time we have seen Zynga admit that there are performance issues! ReplyDeleteYou got it. I told them it was one of my primary reasons not to join-- no listening, no repairs, no commitment from them to keep the game going. As it happens, the VIP loot has fallen below Warlord level in strength. Loot is what VIP is all about, and loot is less important to my character's strength than ever. That's no incentive to throw money at them. I want a game that loads and lets me help my mafiosi through the feeds or some other working method.
DeleteThe survey is different depending how you answer. I have never been VIP so I had different questions. I should have screen captured them.

I checked the "never been VIP" option (because that's true) and didn't get any questions about in-game performance. Maybe moving into the cloud (which I heard they're going to do?) will at least help with the white screens and the game going comatose between on click and the next. I'm still here, so hope springs eternal?

ReplyDeleteThank you to all who pointed out there are different questions for each situation. I did take screen shots of all the questions but felt it was kind of self explanatory that depending on your status, you questions would be different. The 1 question showed in the post was from an account that dropped the VIP program. Sorry I just didn't feel like posting every single question.

DeleteIn mine, I asked them why they bothered wasting our time with these surveys, since they plan to do nothing with the feedback. I also begged them to please do the right thing and sell or give mafia wars to a company who will have an interest in listening to and respecting players' feedback. I am really sick and tired of seeing these surveys and seeing nothing change.
ReplyDeleteI answered everything in relation to us not being able to bulk the membership in one go. I checked that I did not wish to wait for months to unlock higher levels of the benefits.
ReplyDeleteIn the comments section at the end I pointed out that when they where first testing the VIP membership idea out the pop-up stated that we could but in to it for 3,6 or 12 months. But once we selected it they just said it was research and nothing more at the time.
If they would bring back something like that again I would buy all the way up to Elite Black in one go. I'd buy more if there was higher levels than that on it as well.
My experience thus far with a cloud based servers has been anything but positive.
