Facebook is turning the process of generating a Mafia Wars request into a production. Zynga really needs to do something about this or get rid of the news feeds. When attempting to share your Lucky Break requests, you will be faced with a security check in which you must identify whatever objects Facebook feel inclined to ask you to identify. In the example below it was waterfalls. The images that match the said object need to be clicked one by one and then you need to click the Okay button to proceed. One of my accounts got stuck in a loop and it said I failed over and over again. Who knows if the account will be flagged by Facebook after all those failures. This is unacceptable. Our accounts are at risk and this definitively makes the Lucky Break event impossible to play. Thankfully we have an in game feed to get us through it (sarcasm)! All kidding aside, Raymond Morris stated on our fan page that if you allow autoposting than you won't get these security checks. The problem with that is autoposting won't get place you post on your wall so you will need to find it in your Activity Log and then highlight it. Either way, it's a lot more work to get your posts out there. At least this event is one that is easy to skip.
From what I found... Just keep clicking the 'Okay' button without bothering to click on the pictures it says and you will eventually get the 'Captcha' that is what it really needs answered to move on to it posting. Getting more n more ridiculous! :(

Turn all the facebook crap off and use Demon to post to a pod only. Game runs better without all the facebook posting anyway.

ReplyDeleteOne just popped up while I was in arena and I lost 90K stamina. The arena ended before I could use a kami to burn all my stamina, because I was panicking trying to get one of those typed security things off my screen and it kept failing. I am goddamned angry.

DeleteWith Facebook's constant interference in Mafia Wars game play, it won't be long before Zynga will have to step in to put a stop to Facebook's attack on players. Otherwise Mafia Wars is doomed! And Zynga needs to recognize that using scripts/bots/extensions/plugins or whatever they want to call it is NOT an attempt to destroy the game. It is an attempt to improve game play due to Zynga's poor programming capabilities.

DeleteI know I play 3 accounts and no matter whether I do the pic check or text check it says I fail and I am quite offer doing this. I hate all the posting for this event as it is.

ReplyDeleteI have autoposting checked and get the security check, so I disabled the posting for the cards except to my groups POD & have no issue. Getting so tired to Facebook, don't really care if I get this loot or not. If I get some it's ok, but even before this I wasn't able to get maxed out every day before. When Mafia Wars ever shuts down, I will close any account I have on Facebook and do any social networking on someplace you can actually network with out all this BS

ReplyDeleteIts making me do at least two text captchas for every post - it wouldn't accept the images at all. This is despite me checking and double-checking the first captcha before submitting. The captcha problem (with them not being accepted first time or sometimes at all) is a Facebook issue as I've occasionally had it before with sharing posts from certain pages (not games). I can't figure out why its flagging this particular event though - we're constantly spamming the feed with posts from MW and this is the only one I've ever had a problem with. If it wasn't for sharing the posts to help my mafia get cards then I wouldn't bother :o(

ReplyDeleteAfter I posted the card beg it said that I didn't enter the text correctly (it was photos not text) and kept on and on with photos of tigers, guitars, and watches. Every time it said that I didn't enter the correct text. Finally it had a text captcha which I entered and it stopped.
ReplyDeleteFacebook disconnected me for check control all hours! i use real name real picture connect always from my place! i send them my identity card but there is always identity checking! so my account is blok i can t post my mw request on goup, chat with my family, add or post on group, like or comment!! i don t understand why it s happening because i never did hurt or bad things on facebook and it s impossible to get some help by fb!!
