Fight Loot, Arena Loot, Declare War Loot and VIP Membership Loot have all been updated. Like last months update, there are shared loot items that have the same name and images but stars or icons have been added [1]. I think this is very sloppy and further adds to the confusion of the game. Pretty much all of this loot is useless so I'm not sure why Zynga bothers. Since they didn't make unique loot items, I won't make unique blog posts about them. Like most of the game, it's all becoming so unimportant. The loot items for all 4 of these categories are shown below.

It appears mastery starts have gone from actually meaning something to being the ultimate form of cheap and/or lazy designers. Either that or the game is slowly dying and this is a money saving measure.
ReplyDeleteI highly doubt it would be because Zynga know the game still has a long life left in it yet but are running out of ideas. If that was the case they would simply switch the design teams with another game like they do from time to time. They wouldn't be hiring anyone new so it wouldn't cost them any more money.
Yep my guess is either the designers are getting lazy or Zynga rapidly need to save money on this sinking ship.
Haha, yeah... why do they even bother with these updates anymore?? And their new "system"?? Geez... it SUCKS, haha... but all loot is worthless and have been for as long as I can remember. But they must have a way to auto-update the loot (probably using a tool from Spockholm, haha the, Loot-o-Nator, or something like that) Anyways, Zynga... you're not doing anything good with these updates... they are WORTHLESS... keep them to yourself - it's more of a monthly insult, rather than anything else!!

ReplyDeleteHaha... War loot is now better than VIP loot... so, I'm confused here... what exactly is the "VIP" in VIP loot good for these days? I hate this new LAZY ass-system Zynga has come up with. But I realize it makes it cheaper and easier for them to spit out worthless loot... but seriously... isn't this just pissing your loyal players straight in the face while laughing???

ReplyDeleteThe Loot updates should be changed. I maxed out on Operation Loot and now the latest VIP loot upgrade does nothing for me.
Next month, switch to a new system: 10 loots will be made available, one A and one D for each category. thereafter, each month VIP members can loot tokens to boost a given loot's A or D score by 3 or 4 points (e.g., the initial defensive animal loot item is a sandsnake with 287D, and each month thereafter sandsnake +3D tokens can be looted to boos it to 290D, 293D, etc). Each tier upgrade will bring a new loot item, and subsequent months will bring more upgrade tokens. That way, the VIP stat upgrade will always be useful.
Gotta tell ya, brother... sounds like an awfulvlot of work... Zynga is getting lazier and lazier, which this new loot system is clear proof of... so I seriously doubt they would adapt a system as complicated as you are suggesting... no, this is it... we will keep seeing this system from here on out till the end...easy, cheap and worthless... the three building stones Zynga founded this game on
