There seems to be a problem with the current Family Business Mission. Many players have been reporting that Fear Blasters are not dropping in Arenas. It’s not uncommon to see these reports during any Mission events but there are way more than normal. Entering the wrong type of Arena is a common cause for failed loot drops but that has been ruled out. If you recall, this was an issue during the last Family Business Mission [1]. The reason was because the Los Angeles Urban Assault Missions were interfering and that was fixed [1]. Perhaps the current situation is the being caused by the same thing or as Peggy pointed out, Fear Blasters are also required for of the 2 job tasks [1]. Whatever the reason, hopefully Zynga will fix it like they did the last time so players can move on.

ReplyDeleteI have found that they are dropping only if you are already in LA and go to the arena from there. If in any other city, they did not drop for me either.
ReplyDeleteI am still on the first page of LA so think that has nothing to do with this. I am doing some arena work inbetween engy and doing arena w/out boosts. Never get more than a few of those and will not buy them I run sparticue without them and once the fight starts, I just let it run and use the finger to keep hitting the yellow diamond shaped icons. . I end up somewhere in 1- 5th place but with 6 - 31 ices and will have as many as 6 Fear Blaster per game. Have gotten the 6 per fight various times.. Believe it may have something to do with the ices and not the fight score.
ReplyDeleteI think it depends primarily on how much of your stamina pool you can throw at it. the minis with 2K stamina seem to get 5-6 every time, it takes me all of my 45K stam to get the same.
DeleteI got this reply from support - The drop for this specific is quite rare and random when fighting in the Arena. This is by game design. - it took me 11 arenas on full stamina (58K) before I got 6

Deletethese are not dropping due to dissector's still dropping from UA arena assault so either they stop them from dropping or you wont get any til you loot all 150 for gold in UA mission that was an avg. based on level and how often you fight in arena I just received x14 of them and all other including Mexico missions are complete it was way too much to ask since during UA arena you were lucky to get x4 or x5 for 1st place
ReplyDeleteI've managed to get 40 drops over two days (not counting today), not great considering the ton of stamina I've burnt to get them. We're only a small family and 600 is likely to take us most of the remaining time to finish - meaning we won't have time to do the 5th tier of the event :o(
ReplyDeleteOurs were not dropping well either! I think Zynga may have completed it for us? it went from next to nothing to finished in a couple of hours.
ReplyDeleteWho cares, my family sucks. I completed level 1 on both sides by myself. My family of over 75 people have contributed a total of 6 jobs in the 2nd round. I am not doing anything. I need to switch families or get Zynga to make me the Godfather of mine so I can start removing people left and right. It sucks that you can't get rid of family members unless you are the Godfather. This family thing sucks.
