The Berserker Blitz is only a 5 day event but after the first day the top 3 items were exhausted and now all but the last (not so helpful) item remains. You can only get 100 of the last item so once you do that there isn't a reason to engage in this event. If Zynga wants us to buy charges and boosts it would be in their best interest to supply a reason. When updating this event, Zynga left the number of items available the same but they made it much easier to get the badges. With more badges came faster loot exhaustion and a useless event. It will be very interesting to see what happens to the last item. There were 1 million available when the event started. In theory that's enough for 10,000 players to get 100 (the max). If these don't become exhausted than it says a lot about the actual number of actively engaged players. As we suspect, that number is not very high.
Badges? We don't need no stinking badges! Hell, I have ONLY 12 badges after having literally used up 100's upon 1,000's of stamina...not that it's a big deal, as all the rewards are not worth the hassle. But damn, only 12 badges?!
ReplyDeleteAnd earlier you were worried that you wouldn't be able to have your script pick up enough badges for you... seems to me like your script did a PRETTY good job for you on the first day... now, unless Zynga adds more high end loot for you guys to keep you occupied... I don't see anyone wanting to play this event for the remaining 4 days...

Oh... and kudos yet again to Zynga for catering another event for the scripts... you should consider ma´king a thank you post for Zynga... as a sign of appreciation... maybe that would make them add more item on a daily basis... since all items were exhausted in less than a day... not much fun when only bragging rights are at take...
when zynga made it a script game ( when they introduced arena and high energy requirements events and stamina events etc ) you had a chance to adjust your game-play to it !!!! but yes if ya just play 1 to 2 hours a day and don't want to adjust your game to new changes , then not sure what your doing here !!!! stop whining or go play farmville 2 or something in your liking and time play !!!
DeleteScripts became necessary when players' health got so ridiculously high, you couldn't ice someone manually, without risk of doing anatomical damage. I did not start using scripts until it became impossible to ice someone manually. Not sure whose fault it is that health got out of control, but I like to blame Zynga for everything, so, there you have it. The only time I play manually now is if I need a good excuse to go for a hand massage afterwards.

And the problem isn't Zynga... the problem are the people who would rather cheat than than actually playing the game themselves.Scripts opened up to people getting to level 300,000 in a matter of months... thereby reaching insane amounts of health, energy and stamina. The game was never designed for anyone to EVER reach those levels... but scripts allowed that... and Zynga... well... needless to say... they are just in it for the money. they would sell their own mother of they could earn a buck or two... spineless, worthless pieces of crap... with NO conscience what-so-ever... and the script abusers know this and take advantage... and why shouldn't they? The general consensus nowadays is... why play when I can go auto and do something else instead? Well... then go cheat,,,, but stop harrasing the honest players in the game... just because you sold your soul to scripts.... doesn't mean everyone should... and either way you cut it... using scripts is cheating... but go ahead and tell yourself whatever the hell you need to hear in order for you to "legalize" your cheating... and just because 99% of all players cheat... doesn't make it any more right...

I enjoyed the event. I have 1 coward using 5 of his accounts to sit on me for the past month 24/7 and I'm an untagged player so being able to ice some of them with 2 attacks was helpful. the loot was good until I maxed out on it.
ReplyDeleteWhat irritates me about this event, aside from the exhausted loot issues, are the xp/stam ratio inequalities. This is a fightlist event, so one would think that attack skill and/or defense skill would play a part, right? For those of us who don't give a hoot about the Arena, and who persist with fightlist fighting because, well, we're either good at banging our head against walls or we like it--or both--this event would seem to be right up our alley. So why is it, then, that for people with accounts who have triple to quadruple the attack skill of other accounts their xp/stam ratio is 3 to 4 times LESS. Shouldn't it be NOT like the arena, where how much stamina you have determines your "strength" (snort), but where your a/d skill determines your strength? I tested 10 accounts (yeah, I know), and it seems clear to me that Zynga somehow finegled the xp/stam ratio to be somehow geared to your amount of stamina. Accounts with 2x the stam as I have got 2.5 times the xp/stam ratio. Accounts with 1/2 my stam got 1/s my xp/stam ratio. This is a huge deal, because the more you can level, the more badges you can pick up and the more your loot score can be boosted. So, here's a thumbs-down, Zynga, for once again fliipping the bird to those of us who aren't energy/stamina builders. If you're going to have a fightlist event, let the Arena players with limited a/d feel the pain a bit. I don't know who decided that only e/s counts, but it's irritating me. It's been a few years since there was anything around to truly benefit a non-serial leveler account. This event should have benefitted me, but it didn't, and it makes me sad. After 6.5 years, I'm wondering if my account will ever be "relevant" again since I don't build massive e/s. Thoughts, anybody?

well kinda your own fault !!! if you have been pushing all your skills into only attack and defense from all your passive exp from kami hits that your running !!?? < you should have adjusted your energy/stamina also then you wouldn't be having this problem , and yes the reason your not self leveling because your ratio sucks ass your own fault !! hey but you got kami's to help so don't whine or just stop playing but don't drop on serial levelers as we don't cry about you having so much attack and def we don't cry to zynga and ask them to level the playing field on fighting do we !!??/ like they did with energy on LA

I got 5 of the first and second items, and stopped because none of the rest would increase my weapons. It was over in a day for me but I still use the Nuke attack whenever it appears. Works well for tough targets.
ReplyDeleteIt was over in a day for me too. I'm glad actually. I finished family event early and this berzerker one early, so I could get back to LA to do the new districts. Agree with everyone here that this berzerker event was very poorly planned. I thought the loot amounts would renew every day and give new opportunities for the top useful prizes, but nope. Stupidly planned, Zynga.
DeleteHa! "Fail" is the right word, for sure. I earned 100 badges and decided to wait and decide if I was going to go for 600. The next day I come back and all the worthwhile prizes are gone. Hilarious! Why not put limits on each account, instead of limits overall? Oh, that's right. Because this is the way the whales like it. Gotta cater to the paying players. Who, by the way, are just pathetic script kiddies anyway.

More than likely, the high stamina serial leveling accounts are non-payers...so those are the ones who benefit from events like this. Anyone can build an account from scratch like that...I however have better things to do with my time...so I continue slogging along with my "real" account and work on bringing the ratio down over time.
DeleteI used to spend money on the game, but Zynga has demonstrated it only cares about those who spend tens of thousands of dollars on their virtual products, so.... I stopped spending thousands (rather than tens of thousands) on virtual products, became a semi-serial leveling stamina player and have never been happier. A lot of people who, like me, have spent thousands (not tens of thousands) on this game, and have got the royal shaft by zynga, and have decided to stop spending money on the game because of the way we've been treated. They screwed us over on our energy pools, they did little to nothing to stop those using kamis to get way ahead of us who spent money, so they can go eff themselves.
