UPDATE: The survey pertains to having mobile options to play Mafia Wars. If we could access a mobile version on the computer and have a news feed workaround it wouldn't be a bad idea. If you could only play the game from a mobile device than we might be in trouble as far as scripts are concerned.
It’s time for another survey! These are easy to ignore as very few believe Zynga actually listens to feedback. This survey is interesting because one of the items we need to rank is ‘In-Game option to accept or send Feeds/Gifts’. Since all the news feeds issues started months ago, this is the first time Zynga has even mentioned the word feed. I don’t know if taking this survey will help but it may give them something to use if they don’t want to be dependent on Facebook when it comes to the news feeds. The link to the Los Angeles survey was only up for a few hours [1]. If they pull this one, replace your Facebook ID number with the XXX in the link below to access it.

ReplyDeleteThe survey is only asking about mobile devices. So I answered based on what I would want to do from a mobile. They aren't asking for changes to the basic game feeds played on a pc.
ReplyDeleteThe survey is regarding the future use of the game features for mobile phones. I guess this is step 1 towards implementing MW for mobile gaming? Goodbye to Mafia Wars on Facebook and hello to Mafia Wars mobile??

ReplyDeletethey had a mobile version before and it was rubbish doubt they can better that attempt again the game in general is going way down hill in my opinion and cant see mobile version being any better
ReplyDeleteI wonder what ever happened to that survey they had us all do a couple of years back about a new mafia themed game. If this ties in with that not only would it be the end of MW but it would also see it's replacement on mobile rather than FB as well.
