Player Support Page Update: Social Support Removed

Share:

In 2012, the Player Support Site was created [1]. In May of last year, it changed so that you had to click another tab to get to the player question part of the site [1]. This was the most important part of the site because you could see what issues players were having. Zynga’s responses were also amusing so it was entertaining to check in [1]. This part of the page has been completely removed and now if you want to ‘Ask a player’ you will be directed to the forums. The forums are horrible as they are hard to navigate and it’s a production just to ask a question. Logging in doesn’t always work and most of the time you give up. It would have been better if Zynga removed the forums and kept the Social Support part of this page. Thanks to Kathie Eager for posting on our fan page.

  2. really ? goodbye! no support from you no more zynga games! start fixing your stupid problems instead of adding 1000 new things every day.
i've better things to do, i don't need to waste my time with a game which is full of bugs and problems and you cant even contact them if something doesn't works... No Game Publisher can be that stupid to remove player support!

  6. the Q & A section was a complete waste of time for anyone wanting a sensible answer. As you say, only really useful for seeing how many people were experiencing the same issues.

I never really understood why they introduced this section in the first place. It seemed like they were trying to get people AWAY from the forum. Now they are encouraging them to return.

It doesn't bode well for the future though. Removing any & all support options is always the first step to closing down completely.
