If you purchase pay to play Secret Districts for the mastery rewards, you should think twice about the Banking Turns Secret District. It’s been 1 year and 8 months since the district was released and the mastery items are pretty much obsolete. The last pay to play Secret District was Exotic Charm and with it Zynga fell off the pattern and skipped Banking Turns. By going back and offering it now, the loot is even worse than it should have been if the district was offered when it should have been. Most players who do purchase Secret Districts do so because of the +36 skill points you can get. For 27 reward points it is a good deal. I stopped buying these a while ago because Secret Districts aren’t fun and I can’t stand doing the jobs and boss fights. Although it’s a good deal on skill points, it’s only +9 more than I would get for doing a 2X Property Build. To me, +9 skill points isn’t worth dealing with the loading issues and time it takes to complete the districts. If Zynga wanted to add more excitement and incentive to re-do old content, they could offer shut down destinations. Players who missed out on achievements would love to have the chance to get them.
I would pay hundreds of rps for a chance to redo Cuba, Moscow, Vegas and Italy.
ReplyDeletei agree these secret districts aren't exactly fun to play, but for new accounts who didn't have the chance to do them before, they are a pretty good deal because they can also get +15 SP from the special loot.

I will ALWAYS do these. Yes the loot is do do. But the skills are worth it. Besides, set Demon and forget it.

You don't get the 15 again. Only the first time. If you didn't do it in the past than yes it's a great deal. If you did than it's just +9 skill better than a 2X build.
