Today is the last day of the Overlords Boss Fights. The 5th, final and hardest boss is Jezabella. Unlike the other bosses, she is so bad ass she doesn’t even have a last name! If you followed our advice on conserving ammo than you should have enough to bring down the shield and her health with plenty to spare. The key to doing this is combo breaking. Sequencing combos is a method in which combos are tested without having to try each one individually. As Jo Gilliam explained to me, we have items 1, 2, and 3 but we don’t have to try the 92 possibilities separately. Two possibilities could be 1223 and 2312 but if you try 122312 both are in there. The Combo Breaker takes every possible combination and nests them together for the shortest list you can make to cover all possible combinations without having to do each set alone. If you are a manual player you can try the known combos shown in the image below (provided by Cristian St). You will waste a lot of ammo items trying this method but it’s better than random guessing. The chart compares the shield and regular health of all 5 bosses. The shield health of Boss 5 is 7 times that of Boss 1 and the regular health is 5.6 times more. One pet-peeve I have about this is that Zynga removes the home page banner as soon as you refresh the game so you can’t even admire your work, brag about it or check to see how much ammo you had left over (unless you do an inventory search).

As Jezabella is the last one, there's no need to conserve the ammo. Using Spockholm's BossFighterII it took me about 35 minutes to finish her off, by unlocking the yellow combo and continuing to use the yellow combo in combination with stamina in a separate window once the shield was down.

ReplyDeleteall items will carry over to the next season of this event. The last boss is tedious. Not fun at all. I may pass on this event next time. I am passing on more and more these days.

DeleteUnlocked the yellow combo against Jezabella after trying 12 of the 16 possibilities listed above, making this a lot easier. Big thanks for these posts, helped me out a lot. This event turned out a lot better than expected. Even got a few hits with the yellow combo were it dealt more damage than the listed max, anyone else?
