As corrected in the Urban Assault rewards post, the special ability of the mastery item involves the Daily Take feature and not the Daily Fix [1]. Players who earn the Ludologist will have ‘One additional high-value Loot available in the Daily Take’. This item will appear as one of your 6 choices. If you don’t pick it than others can so if you don’t master the event there is still opportunity to get one of these items. It’s always best to go for skill points in the Daily Take so I imagine many players won’t even bother accept it and for many it’s useless already. Thanks to Don Louis Cyphre for pointing this out to me as I got it confused with the Daily Fix.
This loot item sucks and now has taken the place of the Arena Power up you used to have a choice to get. So thank Zynga for giving most players more worthless loot. Yes it's worthless even for accounts without VIP.
ReplyDeleteSo I was hoping against all hope that Zynga might adjust the daily take and return arena power ups to the ones who get the BIGFLOP'ocopter but no such luck.
ReplyDeleteI imagine complaining/commenting politely on their pages and whatnot will be about as useful as all of my sets of baoding balls, but I may try that. I miss my arena power ups and I'm glad that on my main I didn't finish. I go for kamikazes on daily takes a lot. Skill points are fantastic and stuff but the problem is that when everyone is grabbing for skills, you don't get them very often except from your multiple minions.
