The 5th Arena Smashup is now available and for the next 7 days the Arena will behave differently. Everybody will have double the health and depending on your account this is either a good or bad thing. The leaderboard can be found by travelling to the Arena or using the handy Smashup Rank Spocklet. There are 30 players on any given leaderboard and the top 3 will get a loot item. The top 10 will get Arena Tokens which can be redeemed for more loot. The best way to do these things is to wait until later in the day, see if you even have a chance to score in the top 10. If the answer is no, skip it. If the answer is yes, wait towards the end of the day to sniper your way to the top. Depending on the other players this event is either easy or hard. " If the answer is yes, wait towards the end of the day to sniper your way to the top." This is where players from the USA have an advantage. I'm from the UK. Often I will go to bed as late as possible at rank 1 and wake up with rewards for rank 3 or worse.

everyone has 24 hours.....EVERYONE.....i am american and i have had european players be so far ahead in arena smashup, i could not possible catch up......quit yer whining......
ReplyDeleteLeaderboard count was blocked, I made yesterday more than 200 k damage, and was counted only 134 k. In this way I lose the first place, and I receive 20 tokens in place of 25 tokens. It's not the first time when happened. Happened also in last Arena Smashup, in three days. Please if you have any explanation, give it to me.
ReplyDeleteI takes your best 10. If you have empty slots on your list than it should count the total damage of 1 Arena but if you have done 10 for the day and you have a good one, it will be added but only the portion of the score that was better than your 10th Arena would apply. So if your 10th place arena was 70K and you do one in which you get 200K then only 130K would apply to the new score.
DeleteNo body is whining, If you could read properly you would have seen we only remarked on the fact we could not wait till the last minute this side of the world, as midnight in the USA is 8 am here, I start work at 7am. That hour can make all the difference, and just for your info, I won yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAnyone have a strategy on best way to use tokens? It semms it maybe better to purchase the loot item for 5 tokens rather than the loot item+ skills for 75. Thoughts?
ReplyDeletePersonally, with how fast loot is replaced, I prefer skill points. the top item gives the most, so that is the one which I buy if possible. It also has the highest stats, so it lasts the longest. If you purchase smaller items but more of them, the impact on your stats can be higher. Just do the math to figure this out. However remember how quickly they will become obsolete.
