Kalahari Kingpins

Share:

The Kalahari Kingpins is another round of South Africa Boss Fights that plays out exactly like the Lords of Lesotho and the Swazi Smackdown. There shouldn’t be a learning curve but if you need a refresher, go here. We get 11 days to complete 20 Boss Fights and it’s almost impossible to do without the aid of scripts. Thankfully the Boss Fighter II by Team Spockholm will take care of it. You can use stamina or ammo and your stamina requirements and the combos are different for all players. This is what our mystery special event item called the Chopper Builder is for [1]. Six months ago we did predict something like this would happen and I’m surprised it took them so long [1]. Since Zynga as a whole can’t seem to come up with anything new it’s rather fitting.  The last time around they at least created new bosses but these guys are from Las Vegas, Manhattan, Brazil and wait for it…Swazi Smackdown! Felicity Lee is a morph of Babe Brasher and Serenity Lee. UPDATE: The FAQ has been posted and is shown below. The original can be found here.

Q: How do I attack the bosses? Is there new ammunition available?
A:
You will need brand new ammo to fight the bosses in Kalahari Kingpins. Below is the list of ammo available:
*All daily limit timers reset at 11:59 PM PST (GMT - 8).
  • Bottled Heat – Clear Robbing Boards to earn 2 Bottled Heat per robbing board. Daily Limit – 30
  • Hawkhack – Deal damage to opponents in the Arena to loot Hawkhack. Daily Limit – 30
  • Wrench Quake – Do jobs in South Africa and Mexico to loot Wrench Quake. Daily Limit – 30
  • Mega Slayer – Ice opponents to earn one Mega Slayer per ice (2 for kills). Daily Limit – 30
*Your Inventory can only hold up to 50 for each ammunition. Which means you can no longer loot any more of these ammos if you already reached the limit.
You can use the ammo items that you have collected to attack the boss or you can attack directly using the stamina attack button located directly under the ammo items on the boss fight screen.

Q:  What is the difference between attacking the boss with consumables and attacking him with my stamina?A:  A Stamina attack use up your Stamina and the base damage you do is based upon your attack strength.  Ammunition items do not use Stamina and they do a variable amount of damage (range based) to the boss per attack.

Q: Are there special combos to deliver an extra punch?
A: Yes! There are a total of three combos that can be used to deal incrementally more damage to the bosses. You must use the correct order of four the ammunition items in a row to unlock four move special combos. These combos can also be unlocked using Reward Points.
The Green combo: Unlocked at all levels.
The Yellow combo: Unlocked automatically for each boss, after you have reduced 50% of the boss' Health in the Gold level.
The Red combo: Unlocked automatically for each boss, after you have reduced 50% of the boss' Health in the Ruby level.
There are different Yellow and Red combos when you fight a boss. That means the Yellow and Red combo that works for you may not be the same for your friends. There are also different combos for each boss.

Q: I am able to access Kalahari after achieving Ruby Mastery in Kalahari Kingpins. Can I restart the event?
A: Kalahari will remain open until the limited time event ends but you will be unable to reset and re-start the event after achieving Ruby Mastery.

  3. Zynga must really hate this game - they seem to be bringing out all the events that make players want to give up in despair and quit. At the same time.

  6. Just posted a question re how to use Boss fighter - I cleared my cache (after trying a forced reload) and that caused the Lesotho option to be replaced by Kalahari - just in case anyone else has the same problem :)

  7. Forget it lol... even you know the red combos, it's hard to get 30 item each means you must spend your energy and stamina too, esp stamina for robbing, arena, and fight. Say you get 1000 health points each combo, means 80 combos needed for ruby level. That's almost 3 days on one boss. You can use your stamina too but remember it has spent a lot to loot. So, I wont use my energy and stamina, just items, and it's ok if only can finish it at silver.

  12. Easy without using any code breakers or boss fighter. On the last kingpin now and it was a breeze. This is why you load up on stamina.
