Gifting Spirit ZMC Breakdown

Share:

As mentioned in previous posts about the Gifting Spirit Event, the ZMC has been updated and contains a special icon for the event. If you look closely, not all of these gifts are the same. Some have ‘Accept and Thank’ buttons and some have ‘Accept’ buttons. These special loot gifts follow the principles of the ZMC and come in two different flavors. Gifts that say ‘Accept and Thank’ are the ones that players sent especially to you and will yield one of the giftable loot items or a time error message. The ones that say ‘Accept’ are the ones in which you sent to players and they accepted. These will yield a consolation prize which includes Mexico property parts, consumables, Boss Fight Ammo, Pesos, Boosts or Arena Power Ups.  As far as progression goes, accepting or not accepting gifts doesn’t have any affect on the players who sent them to you. Like the other types of gifts with special icons it looks like these gifts do NOT count toward the 250 gift limit for the day. A look at the different items from these different types of gifts is shown below.

New Gifts
Gifts sent to you expire after 48 hours. Once you accept 50, you need to wait for the next reset to accept more. Gifts that return the ‘You cannot any Loot Gifts today’ message are lost forever. If you need to conserve than pay attention to how many you open. If you open a gift that is 2 days or more days old you get a 'Sorry this gift has expired' message. The expired gift disappears and is NOT converted into a Blue Mystery Bag.

Returned Gifts
Gifts that you sent to other players and they accepted return to you in the form of random Mexico items, Boosts or Arena Power Ups. They do not apply to the limit of 50. If you want to maximize on these than make sure you send your gifts to active players. Sending them to players who have quit will waste opportunities to get some extra property parts. Also send these items out as close to the reset time as possible. Players who reach their limit for the day may not accept them and they could be lost.

If you are looking for Family Progression Helper points, there is some bad news. None of these gifts count towards progression so you will need to get your points elsewhere. In the example below, I opened 50 gifts plus a handful of returned gifts. I got credit on my tracker for 50 gifts but my Family Progression is on 5 of 100 (the 5 being from the Daily Fix).

  1. When you send a gift it will show up in the person's gift box as an accept/thank. When they click on it they send you one of the smaller "accept" gifts. What they should do is in turn send you an accept/thank gift so you can get one of the loot items. But most of them haven't figured this out yet. Clear as mud?
You should click on the accept/thank and send that person a smaller gift, but you should also send them a loot item
