A beloved real life character of Mafia Wars is Pistol Pete. As the creator and co-host of the Informant Podcast he became the voice of Spockholm Mafia Tools. Pistol Pete was a member of the PAC for many years and has done a lot to help Zynga and the Mafia Wars community. Zynga is honoring Pistol Pete with a namesake loot item. If they want to make some money than they should sell this thing in the Marketplace. Even though I strongly oppose purchasing loot, I would make an exception. For those who miss the Informant Podcast, rest assured we are trying very hard to get the gang together for a reunion show.
Well deserved for you and Pistol Pete!! I always enjoyed listening to the podcast even after I stopped playing the game. My only question is why is Zynga handing out special loot items and sponsoring mock wars now? It's nice to see but seems like a classic case of too little too late...lol

ReplyDeleteLoot Lady,.....I am some what new to the game and have just seen your remark stating you oppose buying Loot..... how do you increase your Att/Def if you don't buy loot? I know that a player is awarded loot in some parts of the game but that will not keep up with your Att/Def per your Level.... if you oppose buying loot,how do you stay strong per your loot to your Level?
ReplyDeleteThere is no point in spending RP's for loot because the loot becomes obsolete too quickly. Better off in acquiring skill points spending as few as possible reward points.
