Earlier we reported that the 2 new giftable items are constantly removed from players wishlists and provided links to add them back [1]. Today Ange Thomas reported an error message on our fan page and Jo was able to reproduce it. As of today you can see the items are still giftable even though the error message states “America’s Finest and Liberator were removed from your wishlist because they are no longer giftable.” This is probably what we will see when they are actually made non-giftable. If Zynga wants to add limited time giftable items to the game they will need to fix this bug. For trading to become popular again, there needs to be more items so there is something to trade them for and they need to be items which can be acquired in bulk. Not many are going to spend the time required to earn 10 or 20 of something useful to trade them away for things that are not useful. This is a good start but improvements need to be made. We assume the giftable items will convert to non-giftable once the Holiday Hustle expires. Maybe Zynga will keep them so we have more time to rediscover trading. Gifting and trading was fun - I wish they would bring that back.
