When Zynga announced that the timers involved with the Limited Time Properties were updated, they only told us about the ask timers and the parts involved with them [1]. We now have the rest of the information. Players are able to grab up to 4 parts per ‘ask’ period from the news feeds. Although the game message says the maximum is 3, it’s really 4 and has been for years. This brings the total number of possible parts per day to 48 (not counting the parts received as upgrade rewards). I won't get into all the news feed issues and limited availability of working requests. This post is just to outline the total possible number of parts in an ideally functioning Mafia Wars. For those who keep track of this stuff, you will notice the numbers have not changed at all. It’s always been this way and the only difference is when you can ask. Being able to get your parts every 2 hours instead of every 8 makes things more convenient for the player but doesn’t change anything because of the daily cap. We can still only ask and collect parts 3 times a day.  You can also respond to 11 any and 11 specific part requests every 2 hours 3 times a day (this also used to be on an 8 hour timer). Just like with the bragging posts, the message says 10 but it’s really 11. Once you do this 3 times for the day you will be cut off. Nothing about the structure of the building process for Limited Time Properties has changed, it only got condensed into smaller ask/receive periods. You can now earn the maximum number of parts in 6 to 24 hours instead of a carefully planned 24. A fully upgrade property requires 471 parts and you will earn 48 of them as upgrade rewards [1].  It's possible to fully upgrade these properties in about 9 days and this update will enable more players to do so and help the ones who miss a few days get there as well.
