We asked questions and now we have answers. The Mafia Wars Team didn’t make a mistake as many (including me) suspected [1]. These items were intentionally made giftable but the catch is it’s only for a limited time [1]. I don’t know if this will be enough to get the trading community excited again but this is a good sign that Zynga has their attention on the matter. When trading was popular there were over 28 million players. The mass decline of the player base came shortly after Zynga killed it. Players are currently trading them for boosts but it would be nice to get more items into play. It's cute that they tell us to gift these items directly from the gift page but anyone who has tried to do this knows it's very labor intensive. The Gift-a-Nator by Team Spockholm only requires a few clicks and is 100 times faster. Zynga should let us know when the limited time period expires because it would be bad to be in the middle of a trade and find that all of a sudden the item is no longer giftable. Limited Time giftable items is something new to the game.
